Taylor Is Absolutely Amazing! Not only did she repair my glasses but she was alot of fun to be around during my repair. She was very friendly and professional! I love the Midlothian Location and all the employees are cool - Taylor is my Fav!
If you're looking for a top-notch eye care experience, look no further than America's Best - Midlothian Location! From the moment I stepped through the door, I was treated like a VIP. The staff was personable and attentive, the facility was impeccably clean, and the flow of the visit from check-in with Hunter, the pre-test with Crissy, to the exam with Dr. Harman, and then to the selection of glasses and contacts with Angel, was easy, stress-free, and extremely fun. The entire staff was knowledgeable, Personable, and extremely fun to be with.
My biggest disappointment was that there was no music in the facility - and while there were customers there, once I checked in and was waiting... it felt like a funeral home, unlike your other locations. As a result, I asked Hunter. The general manager, why this location had no music and was told their speakers had been inoperable for some time, and they were waiting for corporate to replace or fix the issue.
I can't recommend Americas Best - Midlothian Location highly enough! You'll love it's convenient location, stellar staff, exceptional inventory, great price points, and clean office. Just make sure you have headphones for music while you wait, or you could find yourself like me, sleeping while you wait (smiles). Come on Corporate, DO BETTER!
Angel is my literal angel!! After a weird experience at a different store, I came into AB a little frazzled and concerned that I wouldn't be able to afford new glasses. Angel helped me pick a few frames that suited my face and helped pick the best lenses/coatings for my lifestyle and budget.
I ordered glasses for my daughter at this optical store, and unfortunately, it was a terrible experience.
We brought a precise prescription from our ophthalmologist, but they still made the glasses incorrectly.
First, they made the wrong size -- my daughter tried them on, and it was obvious something was off. The staff apologized and promised to remake them, asking us to wait two weeks.
We waited, but no one ever called or messaged us. When I went there myself, the glasses had already arrived -- and no one had bothered to inform us.
After my daughter started wearing them, she complained that her left eye was always blurry. We went back to the ophthalmologist, who confirmed that the lenses were made wrong and her vision had actually gotten worse because of it.
We returned to the store again, and they promised to fix everything within 10 days. I gave them all our contact info and asked them to call when the glasses were ready -- again, no calls, no messages.
On October 23, we came by ourselves, and the glasses were sitting there the whole time. Their excuse? "Computer error."
This was my first and last time using this optical store -- absolutely the worst experience ever.
Even though we provided the correct prescription, they made the wrong glasses twice.
Unprofessional, careless, and completely unacceptable. I strongly do NOT recommend this place.
Truly4Ang was super helpful in getting me in today for my glasses and eye exam. Everything went smoothly, and they made the process quick and easy. I really appreciate the great customer service and how they went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Highly recommend!
This group of women are cheerful, professional, and fast. I had a wonderful experience the first time I went in. I wanted to get new lenses put in a very, old, pair of frames. All of my answers were met, and if they weren't able to answer (they do what I do), they asked someone else who might. It turned out they could do exactly what I needed.
Both times I was met with a young lady who was very bubbly . I found out today, at my second appointment, what her name is (insert- the name of the pop star who got engaged this year).
One thing I hope happens, is a partnership to donated glasses, locally. There is a hospital beside this location, and other locations are near public libraries. You don't do donations now but I hope you all can in the future!
Despite America's Best not doing donations (it wasn't just this location), Mrs. Boots , gave me the perfect idea of what to do with them ! Everyone knows someone that needs glasses, all you have to do is swap out the lenses, you might get a yes! Thank you! And a hug.
This is my third time I've been to this America's Best. However, today was exceptional! I saw Dr. Jodi Corley. She is a class act. I went in for a medical exam which may seem unusual. I had a bad experience with Virginia Eye Institute and wanted a second opinion. Needless to say, Dr. Corley was more thoughtful and thorough in her examination. I walked out feeling secure with her diagnosis. The wait may be a bit long, but it is most certainly worth it. I recommend!
What a great experience! Excellent attention to everyone. The nicest staff ever. Very professional and knowledgeable. Penelope gave me the best welcome and took care of my appointment. Merci explained every detail of all eye exams, their purpose, and importance. Dr. Corley responded to all my questions and concerns. She went step by step with me during the comprehensive exam with caring to maintain my vision and eye care. And Ana, she was the sweetest Store Associate!
Thank you ladies, you surpassed all expectations
