America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

I brought my teenager there for a glasses and contacts exam. No one advised me before paying over $500 for the prescriptions and glasses, that I had to continuously keep coming back to be able to get a $180 contact prescription. When advised we had to come for the 2nd time I asked for the prescription or a refund because we didn't have the time to keep coming there. Besides I wasn't advised we had to take multiple trips there for a contact prescription that I already paid for. If I'd known about having to take multiple classes I would have gone elsewhere. How this is being handled after I already paid my money for a prescription we have to jump through hoops to get. I want my money back

My doctor was over 20/30 minutes late. Went in for a contact exam and the doctor was suppose to order my trial contacts. I call two weeks later and the contacts were never ordered to begin with because the doctor put in the wrong notes that he gave them to me when he said my prescription was too high for the contacts in stock there. I called today and the lady Jennifer said she would call me back never heard from her today after 2 hours. Will never come back here. I might as well go to Staples Mill. You don't play with people's vision especially when they waited two weeks for contacts that were never ordered.

I had the pleasure of having Deidre assist me with shopping for replacement glasses and an another pair. She was very helpful, knowledgeable and patient with me being so undecided. Deidre explained my insurance coverage, the ordering process in detail and helped me pick out some amazing glasses. I definitely recommend this store and Deidre. Thanks for the experience, thats what great customer service is about.

In this store, as in many others, some female staff members can be unhelpful or unwilling to assist other women. At this particular location, the staff appeared disinterested in providing assistance. After initially refusing, a heavier-set female employee eventually got up and assisted me with frame selections. However, after suggesting she assist other customers, she did not return to help me further. My indecisiveness prolonged my visit, requiring me to seek additional assistance from other staff to obtain their opinions on different frames. I am unlikely to return to this location.

Eye Doctors were friendly here. My issue was with the receptionist here. I had 2 follow up appointments. I had to reschedule so I did so online via email that was sent to me. About 20 minutes before I was to arrive I was called and was told I made an appointment for a full eye exam and that I couldn't be seen I needed to make my eye appointment for a later time because I was taking slots for customers with full eye exams. I found that to be very rude...and regardless if I was a follow up or not I have a right to be seen and it was about my eye pressures which is important to me but obviously receptionist more concern about time slots. Also not my fault when I rescheduled it put me in for a full exam but was made to feel as if it was my fault. Don't think I will be back to America's Best.

I visited this place after seeing an Instagram ad that offered an eye exam and two pairs of glasses for $89.95. In reality, my visit cost me $213.95 because I wasn't informed that if you choose the additional eye health check (+$30), the promotion no longer applies, and the exam must be paid for separately. This felt a bit misleading and gave the impression of a small scam. However, the staff were very friendly and polite, and apart from the issue with the promotion, everything else was good.

This location is great! They have great customer service skills and actually helped me get the type of glasses that will work best for my needs!

While everyone who took care of me today was a 5/5 fantastic, this is a special shout out to Lyneer. She really made my day & gave me helpful information while being a bright light to my experience!!! Will continue to make the journey to this location instead of the one that's nearest to me and made me second guess my years long americas best journey.
