The wait to see the doctor was a bit long but well worth it. Dr. Schwent was personable, knowledgeable and took the time to fully explain everything that he diagnosed and the plan of action that he would take. He was patient, kind and demonstrated empathy for my elderly parent. The staff is also top notch. Everyone was personable and knowledgeable from the time we entered the facility to the time that we left. It was an overall great experience!

About Bryan Schwent, MD

Dr. Schwent earned a B.S. in Biology with honors from Truman State University and a Medical Degree with honors from Saint Louis University. He completed his Ophthalmology residency at Emory University, serving as Chief Resident, and remained for a two-year fellowship in Vitreoretinal Surgery and Diseases. He later joined Emory's faculty as an Assistant Professor. Board-certified and a fellow of the AAO, he specializes in retinal detachments, vascular diseases, macular degeneration, macular surgery, diabetic retinopathy, retinopathy of prematurity, and uveitis.
