Quaint little eye doctor's office. Standard exam, lots of choices for glasses, and they help you understand what your insurance will pay for.

Dr Greene was amazing. He really did take the time to answer all my questions, and I felt like he cared for my health. He was filling out a form to see if I qualified for re-treatment for lasik, and he filled out all the required information, as well as additional information... going the extra mile. He spent a full hour with me, and it was really nice chatting with him. He explains medical stuff in a way that a non-doctor can understand. Yes the place the interior and equipment was a little out dated, however his 40+ years of experience and demeanor assured me that I was in good hands. I saw another doctor at Willow Lawn a couple months earlier, and gave him bad review because although he had a nice location, nice office, and updated equipment, I didn't feel like he really cared for me as a patient.

I'm completely shocked by some of these reviews! This team is phenomenal. Dr. Green is quite pleasant and very dedicated. He has worked tirelessly to find the right pair of contacts that wouldn't damage my eyes (VERY sensitive) while also assuring to find a pair that would fit comfortably. The receptionist found a stunning pair of glasses for my frame that I wouldn't have considered if I hadn't trusted her opinion. Since then, I've received multiple compliments!! Yes, the space is outdated. But if you can look past that for quality service then do it.

I really like Dr. Green. It's like if my dad was an optometrist. I'm a low-intervention minimalist and he doesn't try to sell me on new, superfluous and costly tech that doesn't improve my vision quality. He helped me get really good prices on my contacts. The staff is friendly and yes, the interior hasn't had an overhaul since the mid-90's but that adds to the old-school-dad-as-optometrist vibe that I like.

It's a very small operation here, but everyone is friendly and professional, and Dr. Green clearly cares a great deal about his work. I love their location as well - there aren't too any optometrists in Richmond you can easily walk or bike to.

Yikes, I would not recommend them! The office is dated and cluttered, and the only soap they had in the restroom was a small well used bar of soap. But the worst part was when I called back to make a contact recheck appointment the receptionist was so rude to me. The lenses didn't fit my eyes properly so I couldn't wear them for more than a few hours. The receptionist told "that's not how this works, we tell you if the contacts don't work for you, not the other way around" I told her based on a convo with dr green he was going to order me a different brand and she informed me he was standing right there listening to the whole conversation. The way she spoke to me was so inappropriate. When I talked to dr green he didn't apologize, or even act like anything had happened.

Dr. Green was very thorough and professional. He helped me pick out a great pair of glasses at a great price .

Finding an optometrist that could help me despite financial issues proved to be difficult until I discovered Clearly Optometry.I was instantly treated with intelligence and respect from both Emily and the doctor and had a completely comfortable experience the whole time.I can't wait for my new glasses!
