Dr White and his staff were great for my appointment. I chose him because he was in network with my insurance. However, their office door is always closed (my appt was 2/2024), they do not answer or return calls, only text. After my appointment was finished and glasses ordered and paid for, I was told he was not in network. When I called my insurance company, they told me his contract ended the end of February of 2024 so yes, he was in network but refused to recognize that fact. I asked for receipts so I could submit for payment from my insurance company. When I went to the office, after being let in because the door is never unlocked to the public, I was given an envelope, which contained a check for the glasses I had paid for plus the invoices. My husband had gone in for an exam before I picked up the envelope and was charged full price for his exam. A couple of days after I picked up the envelope I received an email stating he was separating from me and not going to allow me to use him again, saying he would see me only for another month if I needed to be seen. I was quite shocked at this as I've never been treated in this way. I felt he was very unethical. This was such a horrible experience that I didn't submit the exam claims to my insurance company and had to pay full price for both my husband and myself. Poor business practice all the way around.
