I honestly can't say enough good things about my experience here! From the moment I walked in, everyone was so kind and welcoming. The office has such a calming vibe, and everything ran on time (which is rare these days!). Dr. Keene was amazing--super knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and really took the time to explain everything in a way that made sense. I didn't feel rushed at all, and I left feeling totally confident in my new prescription. They even helped me pick out frames that actually fit my face! And took time to listen to my concerns. (bless them!). If you've been putting off an eye exam or are looking for someone new, this is the place. I actually had fun at the eye doctor! Shocking I know! Hahaha

I have been a patient here for many years. Dr Britton was polite, friendly, professional, and I was confident in his care. In reading these reviews I think the five star ones were referring to Dr. Britton and not Dr. Amy Keene!! I had my first visit with Dr. Keene last year. She has no bedside manner, is not friendly, seemed cold, and made me feel like she was not very concerned with my condition. She gave me a prescription for glasses which I can not really see well with! Need an exam this year but will find another optometrist!! As far as the staff, some were friendly but most were not and made me like they didn't want to be bothered!

Love love love Dr. Keene. She was so amazing with me and my son. All the staff were so accommodating getting myself and son in at the same time as my husband. Everyone was so polite and professional. Highly recommend!!

Highly recommend Dr. Keene. I had seen a couple eye doctors before her and she was the one that discovered my keratoconus therefore I was about to start the process of fixing it. Her and her staff are very kind and professional.

Dr. Amy Keene is a wonderful doctor who truly cares about her patients and her community. The office staff has changed since Dr. Britton retired (thank goodness) and everyone was so pleasant and helpful. The optical has a great selection of glasses and they have brands like Oakley and Maui Jim that I would usually have to buy online. The exam I received was top notch and much more thorough than exams I've had in the past. Bluefield WV really needed an exemplary eye dr and Dr. Keene delivered!

The called and rescheduled my appointment twice. Then when I did go, I had to wait in waiting room over an hour. They overbilled my daughter by $100. She paid it and it took over 6 months for her to get her money back. They did not bill my insurances correctly and as a result, my insurances did not pay one dime of their bill. I have changed optometrists and will NEVER go back to this clinic!

HORRIBLE. I will NEVER go to this place again. I had a 4:30 appointment. I waited for and hour and a half and I ended up leaving without being seen.Completely disrepectful. I was there for so long that my dialation wore off. They left me in a room and never came back to check on me. When I asked them if I owed anything they actually had the nerve to check because they had no idea what I had or not had done. Walked in and this is the most NON INVITING place ever. Not one single member of staff smiled. They treat you like you are an inconvience. When they come out to call you it is literally by last name. No respect. No Mr. No Mrs. or Ms. I was going to pay for not only my visit but also two pair of glasses and 6 months of contacts like I always do. I don't need new glasses to see I should never go back to this place. You would do well to avoid it as well.

Dr Britton and his staff are absolutely professional , thorough, polite and amazing. Did I say amazing? Wonderful practice. Thank you for taking care of me!
