*****They saved the day. i had an accident that burnt (Don't ask me how) a lens from the sunglasses that hold a sentimental value because it was a gift from my wife. i went there without any expectation that they can fix it, and to my surprise ! they actually did it ! they replaced the damaged lens with a new one. thanks guys you never let me down :) I went there for contacts and glasses. Dr. Pittaras is very knowledgeable about the latest technology when it comes to contacts. She fit me with a lens that is much more breathable than what I had before. They feel amazing! I also love my new glasses. Very modern look. I am overall very satisfied with the high quality of service and product I received. Will definitely be going back.

Hello, my nameis Tiffany. I've been going to Electra vision for the past several years now. Prior to that I was using Allegheny optical, which I had to go back three times to correct my prescription, and it still wasn't right! Dr. Pittaras has always been very thorough and takes the time to explain everything. She uses advanced technology and equipment to ensure you are getting a quality exam. Both Dr. Pittaras and her staff have always been very friendly and flexible. I have always been told up front what my insurance covers prior to picking out frames (in addition to the retinal scan that is not covered by insurance). I have always been very satisfied with my glasses. I have referred family and friends to Electra vision and they have no complaints whatsoever. I have also been given the option to take my prescription elsewhere if I didn't find anything I liked or wasn't in my budget. So......I was surprised when I read some of these 1 star reviews. Thank you Electra vision! Keep up the good work!

Dr. Pittaras found swelling behind my son's eyes on his visit with her high tech eye doctor equipment. She called me personally that afternoon to let me know her findings and her concern. She then reached out to our Pediatrician and they even made.a comment about how thorough she is and how impressed they were. She is now my doctor and my hubs too. She has much experience and clearly knows her stuff. If you are looking for a eye care with old fashioned values and service. This is the place for you. PS: Amanda at the front. desk is efficient and super helpful!

This was our third attempt at going to Electra vision. I didn't realize Dr. Pittaras was the owner, and would still be working there as the only provider when we went this last time. If I had known she would still be there, I would not have gone. I remember from several years ago after two separate attempts having a general negative experience with her. She seemed competent enough, but we've had many good eye doctors that have been both competent AND kind. Also, when we expressed that we would not be purchasing lenses through them, she was obviously displeased, and proceeded to lecture us on how subpar our lenses would be through another venue. Anyway, fast forward several years, we decided to try them again because the location was so convenient. When I tried to speak to her regarding our insurance and show screenshots of EXACTLY what my insurance said on my screen, she seemed to become flustered and began speaking over me; and then rudely told her office staff who was trying to be helpful to "stop the talking and look it up!" Honestly at that point even if her screen was showing something different than mine, I'd rather give my money and business to someone else who was more polite and professional. Someone who didn't come across as so argumentative and pushy. I don't enjoy writing negative reviews, but I felt it was necessary in this case. Just my little opinion though!

I rarely leave a review for any business but felt compelled to leave one for Barbara Pittaras owner and Doctor of Electra Vision in Ransom West Virginia. Not only were my current eye glasses corrected to what they were actually supposed to be (done at different location 2 years ago) Barbara performed a full eye exam while informing me exactly the state my current vision, correcting my current glasses ALONG with any issues that could potentially affect me in the future - Barbara's willingness to perform the exam while being able to explain each step set her apart from any Doctor I have seen in the past 30 years! Electra Vision maintains a very large quantity of glasses to choose from to suit any style. Lastly, having a proper eye exam will not only maintain your current vision needs but may very well uncover any potentially problems in the future. I would and have recommended her to friends and colleagues for any needs concerning their vision!

My family has been going to Electra Vision for a few years now and have never had a bad experience. My daughter recently experienced an emergency with her eye on a Saturday and on the way to urgent care, I decided to stop by Electra to see if they could see her. They saw her in between scheduled appointments and were able to get her the medication she needed. They were so kind and compassionate with a nervous teenager who was in a lot of pain. I highly recommend Electra Vision!

Coming from the medical feild, I understand the quality of care for patients and this office was great! Amanda was able to accommodate my busy schedule, and Dr. Pittaras took her time with me and listened to what I had to say. Her exam was very thorough and informative. Amanda also spent time with me to pick out glasses, even though I am the worst when it comes to picking out glasses because I hate them, she did not rush me at all. When I switched brands of contacts and had a minor issue with them, Dr. Pittaras switched the brand no problem to what I was more comfortable with and they were mailed to my home within 3 days. I am new to the area, but this office is definitely more than exceptional, and if you're looking for a doctor who knows what she's talking about and has a passion for what she does, I highly recommend this office. They have advanced screening technology, which is what you want going to an eye doctor. If you're going to just read letters off of a chart, you are not taking care of your eye health to the full extent. Imaging and preventative screening is imperative to your eye sight. This is the only place in town that can get our prescription right. My husband & I both wear progressive lenses. We are always able to get our new frames and wear them with no problem. Before we found Electra Vision, we wasted our $$ on frames that didn't fit & lenses that were not made correctly, many times never wearing them @ all. If you want an Eye Dr. with state of the art equipment & knowledge, who takes her time with you through out the entire examine, then Electra Vision is the place to go. Thanks Dr P & Amanda for giving us peace of mind when it comes to our vision care.
