It is amazing how things has changed since covid. At one time places of business tried to help now they are like whatever. I have been dealing with Eye doctors in vienna for a while now. It was all because of the way Dr. Showalter helped me during the year vienna lost power. I had metal in my eye and I went in on a Saturday and she was very helpful. I alway rememberd that and i decided to go there when I got insurance and go to the eye doctors. I been draling with them for years now. Now they are forcing people to have a test done. My wife went in there and they pretty much told her that if she don't like it there is other places to go before they started enforcing it. I just called today and asked if they started doing that and was told yes. I asked to cancel and that was it. The person seemed to have a little attitude to begin with. This person must be new because any time i call they are happy and helpful. But at one time places wanted business now they are like oh well go some where else. I could see if I was being rude but I wasn't. Oh well they just lost my business and my money from not just me but my family.

I've been a patient for about 6 years. Dr. Showalter has improved my dry eye condition so much, that I only need to see her once a year . She and her staff are very professional and friendly. I highly recommend their office for dry eye relief!

I just had a really weird experience with the front office staff. I got frustrated because I got a text from Eye Doctors earlier in the week to send my insurance card. I did. Then I got asked for it again at the door. I never got a physical card from my insurance company. If the goal is to compare numbers on the card, they would be comparing the same exact picture of my insurance card because I would just be handing them the printed version of what I sent at their request earlier this week. Again, it would be the exact same image. If the goal is to get the scan, save the image I sent! I did not yell, I did not curse, nothing. I was just frustrated. MULTIPLE ladies in the front proceeded to stare at me like I was an alien. It was so weird and uncomfortable. Just know the feeling is mutual... I don't like dealing with you anymore than you do me. You made me not want to come back. My doctor and his assistant were amazing and kind and really saved the service. Thank you so much for not treating me like I'm less than.

They include services that aren't included in the exam and try to charge you afterwards. I wanted to switch my lenses in my old glasses and it was going to cost more to do that than to buy a $160 pair of glasses AFTER insurance. Didn't make any sense to me. I've been coming here for years and I've never had an issue until recently.

Horrible horrible experience! Mandy the receptionist is soo Rude and Unprofessional. Do not bother taking an appointment and going there! I'm so disappointed on how she treats new patients and sad that I waisted time waiting on her to call me back and check my insurance coverage before my appointment. When I called her a week later she said she has no information on me on file though I provided her with all the necessary details. She even ended the call abruptly when I was asking her to cancel the appointment until we call the insurance !!

I had an appointment yesterday with Dr Showalter. She was very patient and thorough. The treatment she put me on has already made a difference. Im not having nearly as much trouble with dry eye today.

I have been dealing with Dry Eye Disease for years and unable to get any help from my eye doctors. Everything I was told to try just didn't give me any relief. I had been through it all and still no answers. I heard of The Dry Eye Center through another doctor. Dr Showalter and all her staff were wonderful. I felt cared for, I felt heard and more importantly I finally got answers AND SOLUTIONS! I walked in feeling like this was just one more doctor that really can't help BUT I walked out full of hope that I finally was going to get relief. It's been two days following their daily treatment plan and I can tell a difference already.

All the employees are extremely professional! They make you feel very comfortable. Linda at the front desk is so nice as she greets and checks you in for your appointment. Connie, Dr Showalter assistant is such a caring person. Dr Showalter works so hard to solve your problem(s). My dry eye issues are definitely getting better.
