My mom ordered glasses October 8, 2025. We went in periodically to see what the status was. The receptionist told me the person that was doing the lenses must have cracked it when they were drilling the holes-ok, we're trying to be patient....went in several more times and still a song and dance, yet no glasses. My mother is 76 years old and shouldn't have to deal with incompetence. It has now been almost 4 months with still no glasses. Receptionist said she had a lot of boxes of glasses to go through, however any time I went in in person, the same stack of glasses was still there. Same excuses, same lack of action. The doctor was great, but the other employees not doing there jobs properly is going to bring this place down. Sad for a great Doctor.

Its been at least 6 months since we first ordered new lenses under warranty. I had to come in, in person to check on them since they never answer the phone. Fast forward to now, still dont have them, still dont answer their phone.

As a new patient, I was initially pleased with the professionalism and warm welcome I received from the front office staff. They efficiently collected my information and inquired about the services I was seeking. I informed them that I wanted a comprehensive eye exam and requested both my contact and eyeglass prescriptions--while also making it clear that I only wished to proceed with services covered by my insurance. I was informed by the receptionist that there would be an out-of-pocket charge for a contact lens fitting. I responded that I would prefer to discuss the necessity and nature of that fee with the doctor directly during the exam. Upon meeting Dr. Mark Robinson, I asked for clarification on what a contact lens fitting entails and why it was not considered essential by my insurance provider. Dr. Robinson explained that the fitting includes additional evaluation to ensure the lenses do not adversely affect the health of the eye. I then asked whether the regular eye exam--covered by insurance--does not already include a complete health assessment. At that point, the tone of the conversation shifted significantly. Rather than providing a clear explanation, Dr. Robinson appeared to take personal offense and stated that he does not take advantage of his patients--despite the fact that I never made such an implication. The discussion quickly became contentious, as my intent was simply to understand the distinction between the two procedures. Although I reiterated that I was willing to pay the fee for the initial fitting, I questioned the necessity of being charged for it in future visits once the fitting had already been completed. Dr. Robinson then declined to proceed with the exam and asked me to leave. I believe it is reasonable for patients to seek clarity about the services being performed and the associated costs. Unfortunately, this interaction left me feeling dismissed for simply asking fair and relevant questions. It is my hope that in the future, patients' inquiries can be met with professionalism and transparency rather than defensiveness.

Not much to say other than I ordered my glasses on January 28th 2025 and it's July 11 2025 and I still don't have a pair of glasses. When I call I get excuses (if they ever answer me) the front staffing are not professional or know how to take care of issues professionally. I think it's also rude for the front staffing to talk poorly about patients when they leave the office. The dr is great and always gives me a little lesson during my exams and always listens to any questions I have without trying to rush me out. My business is going elsewhere (obviously) it's a hit or miss establishment. Good luck new patients.

What a refreshing experience! I was greeted by friendly staff members Lori and Chesti who made my time at the office very pleasurable. Dr. Robinson gave me a through exam and explained everything in full detail. When it came time to select glasses Chesti took her time to listen to me about what style of frame I was looking for and helped me make a unique and bold selection. I look forward to many more years of service with this office!!!

My family has been patients of Dr. Robinson for 4 years. I have had 5 eye surgeries & Sjogren's. He is one of the best optometrists I have ever met. He is extremely knowledgeable & very thorough. He has been able to help control my double vision when the surgeons & ophthalmologists could not. His experience & expertise is a rare find. He has made it possible for my grandson, with severe allergies, to be able to wear contacts without irritation. His advice on our eye care is invaluable. Dr. Robinson's staff is very helpful & friendly. They have advised me on insurance issues, made repairs to my broken glasses in the store (at no cost)& provided free contact lenses when my grandson was out-of-area at college & his Rx expired. The Dr and staff have gone above & beyond for my family on numerous occasions. I highly recommend you give them a try if you are looking for an excellent optometrist with an outstanding staff who truly care about your eyesight. ps-This review was not solicited nor am I being compensated for it. Thank you for reading.
