Great staff, very professional and kind. Explained all aspects of procedure clearly. Dr. Frame called me the evening of my surgery just to check that I was doing well. Very impressive.

Thorough and professional. Most comprehensive exam I have ever had and they explained everything step by step. It was a very pleasant experience and I would highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for an eye doctor!

I've had a frustrating experience with Milwaukee Eye Care. They did not send the correct information for my prescription, and I'm still waiting for the issue to be corrected. This has caused unnecessary delays and inconvenience. I expected better communication and accuracy from an eye care provider, and unfortunately they've fallen short. I would not recommend based on my experience.

I had been a patient of Milwaukee Eye Care for the last few years and was satisfied with them. Last year I had a routine annual exam/checkup (NOT a new patient) where 1) I wrote over $150 in two checks for their services at the visit, plus 2) they billed my VSP vision insurance, & 3) they billed my health insurance ... well, okay. They received several hundred dollars for my annual exam, with no change to my vision. THEN I get a bill for another small amount for what my health insurance "did not cover." I ignored the bill as I had already paid a copay and other fees at the time of the visit, plus they got paid from both of my insurances. This year I call for an appointment for my annual exam and was told I could not get one as my account was locked due to nonpayment of charges. The costs at Milwaukee Eye Care are beyond ridiculous ... make sure you check to see what you will be charged BEFORE you go there. As for me, I'm off to the Costco eye center. Follow-up after review was posted: Milwaukee Eye Care attempted to "make things right" by texting me letting me know what I still needed to pay if I wanted to be ever receive services from them again. Really, go somewhere else.

I took me over 2 months to make an appointment but called today to cancel. The next appointment was over 3 months from now. They claim that they called and left a message and texted previously, but miraculously I have no record of either. I guess they were just lucky today. Also the last time I was there, the tech complained that my eyelashes were in the way of the exam, so without gloves or washing his hands, he pushed my eyelashes up. How in the world is that sanitary?

Always get excellent service from Milwaukee Eye Care. Dr. Heilman is superb and has been my eye doctor for years.
