Not only is Dr. McCanna skilled and knowledgeable, he is genuinely concerned and engaged with his patients. It was a pleasure meeting him, getting to know him, and working with him on my eye care. PLUS, he has a first-rate staff. I'm sorry I only have two eyes to work on!

I was reassured that I would be taken care of and my concerns would be handled accordingly. It gave me relief to know I can have the procedure and take care to clear things up. Great staff involved and listened to my concerns and didn't make me feel like I didn't know what I was talking about. I have had family and friends who have come to this clinic and know now why they praise you all up and I will now join them and recommend this clinic if they are looking for service . Keep up doing what you do!!

The staff is terrific. They are professional and knowledgeable. I feel very comfortable with them. And I can see so much better after cataract surgery! Dr Moffit and staff are incredible!

Set up and had my yearly appointment end of September. My original doctor retired so they gave me somebody new. My appointment I felt completely unheard and spoken over the whole time and knew I wouldn't use him next year. He needs to be retrained on how to listen. Also the reason I left confused. I'm towards the end of the year and went to use my insurance that I stated in my appointment, I'm here because of a pre-diagnosis that I still needed a prescription to use through my work because of my insurance I get my glasses/contacts through Walmart. I will need something written up. I had a glasses exam which I thought was strange but accepted it because I didn't know I wouldn't be getting a prescription for this when I specifically stated multiple times in my appointment that I needed a prescription to use at a different location. It was known that was coming for my yearly appointment. Went to the location through my work and they stated I denied an exam. I called the clinic and they stated I denied the exam and they couldn't get me in until March 4 months from now and my appointment still costing me $75 for pretty much checking the pressure in my eye when they knew when I set it up it was a yearly appointment. I will never go back. I will never recommend this place. I had an absolutely horrible experience and will be looking for a new location. They lied, didn't listen, and still charged me and made sure multiple people called me so they didn't have to fix the issue. No offer to help make this right and no accountability taken. Unacceptable! Will be reporting them.

I have been a patient of Dr McCanna for several years now. He is just the sweetest guy and with kind of a scary eye issue he has just ALWAYS put me at ease and made me feel taken care of. I was just in to see him today and I've never seen Joe there before but I have to mention he too was very kind and fun to talk to during my appt.

Always greeted kindly upon walking in the door, generally by my first name. Very little waiting time. Assistants and doctors very professional.

I have been using the CVEC in Chippewa Falls for over 25 years. The staff has always been professional and very polite. I have been under the care of Dr. McCanna for all of these years, and I could not have asked for a better doctor. I recently had cataract surgery with Dr. McCanna and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. I would highly recommend Dr. McCanna and his staff to anyone. Thank you for such great care.
