Got into my appointment quickly and had a great experience. Staff were super friendly, helpful, and patient with walking through costs. Risha was kind, charismatic, and was understanding when it came to making the best decision for myself financially. She and the rest of the staff were incredible. :)
The Glendale location of Wisconsin Vision is the best location I've been to. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The manager, Sharisha, dedicated a lot of time to helping me get the best costs with insurance for my contacts and glasses. The optometrist was also great, friendly, efficient, and really knowledgeable. Highly recommend this location.
I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment. Yet I wasn't seen until 20 minutes later. And the optometrist kind of dryly said thanks for waiting. The front desk person was pleasant but I waited about 15 minutes before I got checked in. I specifically stated I did not want my eyes dilated because it was dark out and I drove myself. Yet the optometrist still attempted to put dye in my eye. I do not believe my prescription is correct. She honestly did not appear to know what she was doing. And kind of made reference to because I didn't get dilated she couldn't give much more info regarding my eyes. She didn't even sign the prescription nor include her license info on the prescription. However she completed the exam without the dilation at my request. I will not be back. Highly disappointed. Not to mention I had to endure a stench from horrible breath during my exam. I thought I'd try Wisconsin Vision. Never again....I should have stuck with where I usually go. Which I'll be getting another exam because I don't trust this one at all. She didn't even explain the tool she used that I now know replaces the machine that used to blow the puff of air. I literally had to question everything. I've never experienced this at any eye exam anywhere else.
Just left my appointment and Jackalyn was GREAT!!! She was very friendly, helpful and informative. She helped me pick out some of the best glasses in my collection. I thank her for her assistance. Thank you Jackalyn Girl. #MailCarrier
It's a first time for everything. My experience at Wisconsin Vision with Risha was what I needed, because I knew nothing about eye glasse fitting or how to pick out prescription glasses and she helped me out with a loving heart not just rushing me alone. This location on Port Washington the staff as a whole was welcoming.
My son's glasses were ordered on 12/11/25. They took 6 weeks to be made, I picked them up on 1/22/26. A few weeks after past the original window to expect them, I reached out and was refunded the protection plan cost. I was given multiple excuses for the delays, special ordered material, equipment being repaired, failed inspections, etc. Risha, the manager at the Glendale location said she would follow up with me because of the delays, but she didn't at all. I had to continue to call for updates. At that point, I left more than one VM messages for the regional manager, Sarah until she called me back when the last message I left, I said I would continue to call her. She left me a VM this past Saturday (1/17) that they were "unfortunately starting over again" now for the 3rd time. That same day, we went to Costco Optical and paid LESS (out of pocket, we used our vision benefit with Wis Vision for 2025!), assuming it would take another month, if they were starting over again. Both Costco and Wis Vision called yesterday 1/22 to say the glasses were ready for pickup. Somehow my son's glasses were a priority after 5 weeks and they could get them done in a couple of days? I was told the coating alone took days to cure, I'm not even sure that they have the coating now. I do not trust anything they say, I am certain I was lied to multiple times. It was an absolutely terrible experience and I am beyond dissatisfied, my family will not return. I recommend getting a Costco membership for glasses alone, same frame options and lens quality. I did the comparison.
The front desk personnel are amazing! Risha & Patricia are very attentive and friendly, always willing to make small talk and help you find the frames you'll really love! From a regular customer here they're great.
I want to recognize Sharisha as having gone above and beyond in my experience of getting new contacts and glasses after an eye exam. She was willing to answer any questions and even showed me some options catered exactly to what I was looking for. She made the entire process easy and actually enjoyable. Many retail settings are rather stale these days but between Sharisha and Carlos Wisconsin Vision in Glendale continues to be full of life.
