Absolutely unprofessional and unhinged individuals run this place. When scheduling an eye exam, I'm told "your eyes must be dilated." I explain, I have a neurological condition in which my eyes are already dilated. The individual goes on to argue with me. I tell them "ok, I'll speak with the doctor, thanks." THEN some man calls me up, lecturing me on why eye dilation is necessary. I tell him I don't know who he is but his behavior is beyond inappropriate. He then tells me that my appointment is canceled and I should see an ophthalmologist. WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE? For the record, I requested to speak with a doctor regarding this ridiculous behavior. I got hung up on. Repeatedly. Menyuk this office. Seriously. Go anywhere but here. They are unhinged. I'll be reporting their behavior to every appropriate board.

A year ago I purchased glasses here with Hanna. From the start my experience has been nothing but amazing and efficient! Fast forward a year later and I need to repair the frames I purchased. I was set up with an amazing 2 year warranty and I went in to get the repair done, which the frames needed to be replaced. Hanna again helped me order new frames and lenses covered by the warranty right away. I don't even have to worry and I feel taken care of. Highly recommend going to Primary Eye Care!

I've been seeing Dr. Hillman for about 5 years and have been impressed with the care of all the staff. From eyeglass fittings to billing and of course from Dr. Hillman herself. My questions are always heard with willingness to talk them through to find the best solution for me.

Terrible customer service. 1st the glasses were the wrong color and they tried to blame me. Paid for thinnest, best lenses and the lens had to be made thicker for mounting anyhow. Why did i pay for thinner lenses again? Also, the lenses have gaps, and fit the frames poorly. Was a customer for 4 years in a row. The 1 employee who did a good job fitting the glasses quit. The last 3 years the frames were fitted poorly and in haste. As stated in the previous review, Jeremy will stonewall you, and not work toward a fair resolution. Its my loss this year, but their loss of a customer who purchased $1000+ glasses every year. Please, do yourself a favor, and shop elsewhere. In response to PEA. You and/or your staff stated, the lenses needed to be made thicker for mounting. I am not surprised that you continue to deflect any responsibility. Also, I do not believe there was any 'advocating' for me on your part. All I remember hearing is 'can't' from the very beginning. Read the review below to see more of Jeremy's customer service.

I purchased glasses at Primary Eye Care in Oconomowoc, at 1280 Summit Avenue. I purchased them in March of 2019. The right lens fell out shortly after that. Since then it has fallen out 4 more times. They charged me $99.00 for the 1st one that fell out. Yes, that was a deal, but if there is something wrong with the frames or lenses, it is not my fault that it fell out and broke. I have glass. They tried gluing the lens in. It fell out that evening. Mr. Jeremy Marsh will not give me a refund, or new frames or lenses. "We have done all we can" he says. All we will do is keep putting the lens in whenever it falls out. Well, it fell out 5 times in one year, and I keep my glasses 4 or 5 years....that is a lot of stress on my part. I have been going there since 1992. I guess good customers don't count. I am VERY UPSET with them. For over $500.00 I should get glasses that I can use. Since this review I have received help from Kelly. She took one look at the frames and said they were not square. Why didn't the 2 men that I had dealt with notice this. By this time the lens had fallen out 7 times!!! I was finally given new frames, and have not had a problem. I still feel I should be repaid the $99 for the first lens that fell out. NOT!! I really like the Drs. and the workers there. Not sure what I will do next year.

I'm actually a new patient, and haven't even been seen yet. I broke my glasses and need them until my appointment next week. They were kind enough to fix them so I can wear my glasses until I get new ones. Everyone I talked to was so friendly and helpful. So glad I called them!

We were at the clinic shortly before a tornado warning went off. All the staff was professional and friendly when sheltering in the basement. Staff (Kasey) went out of her way to keep my 3 year old comfortable and occupied. Once the warning passed we went straight in for his exam where he had another great experience!

Unfortunately, I purchased a pair of sunglasses from Primary Eye Care on June, 2nd 2014 and I have yet to receive my lenses. The lenses were ground incorrectly twice and I received rude costumer service regarding the issue. The sales associates acted like I was a burden when I wanted to get the air pockets in my lenses fixed. If you are in need of eye service do not bring your business to Primary Eye Care. They should change their name to Secondary Eye Care instead because the service is very poor and mistakes are frequent. (The only reason I am giving one star is because that is the minimum)
