Aurora Vision Center

This review is from Linda. I have visited the optical department in the Plymouth clinic several times in the last month. Not a real busy vision center. I don't understand why an appointment is needed to have glasses adjusted or to pick up a new pair of glasses. I wouldn't mind waiting a few minutes for the optician to be available after assisting other patients. What I do mind is being sent a message to call a certain number to make the appointment to pick up my new glasses and no one can answer the phone??? Probably the last time I visit Plymouth Aurora vision center. I now understand the poor review status you have.

They were all quite pleasant today at the eye clinic. No problems. I got eye exam and picked out nice frames and will be ready in 2 weeks. I said to them thank you, you were all so nice and helpful.

If I could give a negative start I would. I went to get my eyes checked. (Yearly exam) I was pregnant at the time. They told me my eyes haven't changed. Sweet. I picked out some glasses because I just wanted some new ones. I got my new glasses they were different prescription. She told me to try them for a few weeks. Never got to wear them. I went back to tell them they needed to be fixed. The lady kept telling me well because you were pregnant your vision could have changed. How could my vision have changed if you told me my vision didn't change and my previous glass feel better? I was just getting a new pair to get a new pair. Then some guy was helping me and he went in the back to take the measurements on my original glasses and this same chick goes in there and I hear her telling him. She was pregnant her vision probably changed. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! I was like whatever. I left. Never going back. I just got my eyes checked again (at my original eye doctor). And they showed me my original vision to what they gave me and there was definitely a difference. Glasses aren't cheap! And I paid all this money for nothing and wasn't even able to use them. Do not recommend.

My eye appt went very well with my eye Dr. & also with the optician who helped me when I was picking out my eye glasses. I have a complaint about the receptionist who should have known better than to loudly keep repeating some personal information from my records. I was devastated that someone who's working right in the same area as all the people in the waiting area & hallway outside the dept & in the dept would feel that some (in her words) "not normal" information should give her the liberty to blast it out loud for all to hear over & over. Even after I told her she didn't need to keep repeating it over & over she couldn't see her insensitivity. She was completely blind to what she was doing. Professionals don't do that.
