Hate getting your eyes dialated, HATE THAT PUFF OF AIR IN YOUR EYES THAT MOST OF US CLOSE OUR EYES PREEMPTIVELY FOR ANYWAY?? I found the perfect doctor in Racine. Dr Dean Rosenberg was the most thorough I've ever seen. He has the incrdible machine which takes a real life picture of the inside of your eye where he can diagnose immediately any diseases or potential ones....I at only 61, have a cataract maturing...my husband at 75 has none!! Anyway, Ive been a Walmart patient as long as they have been in town. But a recent convert to "shop local shop small" we decided to try someone. Dr. Dean was easy to understand and ready with pictures to demonstrate. Best Ive ever had. Im sorry to the kind doctor at Walmart, we wont be back. Choices of eye glasses was also par on any Ive ever seen...and better. Thanks! annie

The staff are absolutely amazing, they go above and beyond to ensure you have the right fit glasses and/or contacts. My husband and I came here for the first time recently and just picked up my glasses today, they fit great and am so happy with my choice !! They also got me a killer deal on my contacts - cheaper than any other yearly supply I've had to pay for. I felt confident with my doctor and the feel I have the right prescription. Will be a long time customer

Regarding Dr. Dean, his level of care is thorough and professional. However, that is where the quality of service ends. Unfortunately his staff is less than professional and I ultimately had to purchase eyeglasses and contacts elsewhere due to their failure to contact me as requested multiple times. Once confronted, I received a less than sincere apology and no explanation for their failure to follow up. I was a patient of Racine Optical for many many years before I moved away and their level of service was all around top notch then. I doubt that Dr. Dean would be happy to know that his staff's inability to follow through and stay in contact with the patient lost him business. If you want a good exam, Dr. Dean is great, if you want products, go elsewhere.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at the clinic. We recently moved to the area and my husband and I needed an optometrist. We were thrilled to discover that not only did they offer convenient Saturday appointments, but we were able to be seen together and were treated professionally and in an incredibly friendly fashion. The doctor is one of the nicest people I've ever worked with and we had a great laugh reminiscing over our shared alma mater. The turnaround time on my new and much needed glasses was fantastic and they've been highly responsive to our needs. The doctor was even familiar with my rare disease, something I often don't even find in medical professionals practicing medicine outside optometry--and extremely helpful to have someone understand. We would highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for great, friendly, and convenient eye care. We will definitely be back.

This location is absolutely AMAZING! The staff are all so kind and Dr. Dean is a wonderful, caring eye doctor! He treats you with respect and consideration for your concerns and needs. I would recommend this location to anyone, and will always be a returning customer

I have been coming to Racine Optical for quite a few years now. I love going here because they are thorough, efficient, friendly, and most helpful. They take the time to explain everything, answer my questions completely and I walk out with very attractive glasses with the best and clearest sight every time. I get a kick out of being able to read street signs before anyone else in the car. I have never been disappointed in their knowledge, service, and efficiency. They are like very good friends. DR Dean is the best! I have been afraid of having cataract surgery but feared I would have to go thru it cause I love to read. Dr Dean took time to explain how the surgery is done from start to finish and how my sight would be greatly improved. Now I am excited to get it done. NO more fear! He is so different from my past doctors who didn't want to explain procedures cause they didn't have time. Dr Dean gave me the time.

My family have been using Racine Optical Co. for four generations now. We have had the best of service and friendship for all of these years. Dr. Dean will work with you to get your vision the best it can be with the most up to date science and medication that are available. I have a complicated prescription and Dr. Dean and his staff have had to work very hard to make my vision right. They have never failed. I and my family highly recommend his office for your eye care.
