I tried to reschedule an exam yesterday at 5:55pm the website says open till 6pm. No one there place was totally dark. I call today and spent more time on hold than talking to someone only to be cut off each time I tried to talk to someone. Then I find out only certain insurances are taken for digital exams. Might be helpful to have that on the website.

I have been coming to shopko for a few years they have been great until today! I called them yesterday explained that after my doc exam & visit I got pink eye and had to toss the contacts they gave me to try & went back to pick up my glasses.yesterday I called the day before they were so nice & told my I could have my trials sent to my house! But today I came & explained my situation again the wouldn't give a pair to get by til the temps came!I had to argue & reexplain but I got no contacts til my trials come in ! I had to drive far to get here!I won't come back here & or my family that I recommend this place to!

Kim was the absolute best. She was patient and kind. Her positive attitude made my experience selecting glasses extra great. I truly appreciate the friendly staff.

This was my first encounter with this corporation and now will be the last. The store in Rice Lake is unorganized, unprofessional and they blatantly will lie to your face. I have no idea what my eye insurance covered because I was sent a bill every chance they could get. I was told 50% off glasses with purchase of my contacts. I was told my contacts were covered by my insurance if I paid for my glasses. I paid over $700 for my glasses and over $700 for my contacts. I also paid for my eye exam for contacts that I was repeatedly told was covered, but ended up paying $30 for that too. Then I received another bill for $200 for my contacts after spending over $500.00 on them to begin with! This place is an utter joke! I spoke with Sam last week asked for a copy of my prescriptions and I would pick them up today (Monday). I walked in there this morning and a girl was sitting at a fitting desk. She asks if she can help me? I explained why I was there and in a snarky tone, she asks did you call ahead for it? Yes, last Thursday. Well there's nothing here. NOT my problem. Do your job! God knows I just paid you enough to print two pieces of paper off! Worst company ever! You've been warned.

The selection of glasses is terrible. The customer service is terrible (minus one of the girls, I think her name is Becca, she was great). The Dr was nice but I felt like I was more of an inconvenience to him than anything. There was one particular women who was beyond rude and made me decide to never go back. If I knew her name I'd share it but unfortunately I dont. Overall a very disappointing experience for a business that has such great reviews.

I took my 8 year old daughter in for an eye exam in Rice Lake. We started off with Mikayla and then had the exam with a telehealth doctor. Mikayla explained the whole process to my daughter so she understood the process and was comfortable. The process was quick and easy.

Made 5 trips there,4 different pairs of glasses and none of them were made right,was very disgusted and disappointed,first pair the bifocals weren't correct in them 2nd and 3rd pair were metal frames that were scratched,4th pair I chose plastic frames due to the metal frames being scratched,the plastic frames were fine but the lenses in them had ripples,which made things look blurry,so I got a refund and going elsewhere! BAD EXPERIENCE THERE FOR SURE!!
