Receptionist very rude, poor customer service every time. Edited from second visit three years later! I gave them a second chance because I prefer local doctors for my family. Made appointments for my kids, over the phone they specifically asked what type of insurance we had and I told them. Pull my kids from school, get there and they then tell me they do not accept the insurance they informed me over the phone that they did. The receptionist seemed a little condescending after finding out the type of insurance and that I told her I was told they took it, to which she said everyone that works here knows we don't take it. Okay? So why did someone who works here say that you did and waste both our time?? 3 years later and still poor customer service, congrats.

These people are super nice, patient & helpful. They're happy to help you pick out glasses frames or make sure your new contacts fit properly & comfortably. Dr. Vodak is so kind & knowledgeable. No matter how far away I've moved, I keep going there & can't imagine going anywhere else!

I set up my appointment a year ago before I was pregnant. Today I have a two month old. I asked if I could bring the baby (will stay in the car seat or in a baby carrier strapped to me). I was told that she would have to be 100% quiet or to find a sitter. I found a sitter who canceled 1.5 hrs before my appointment because of a sore throat. I called to tell SGVC my predicament and they wouldn't budge. This place is not accommodating.

Dr. Vodak has been taking care of my eyes for over 30 years and I'm 38. He has been an absolutely phenominal in his care for me. I am very thankful for his skill, knowledge, and abilit. He is an irreplaceable asset in our community.

This is the friendliest, most accommodating eye provider I've worked with. Very happy to keep returning for anything we need.

They are not accepting new patients and they aren't very caring about it.
