Aspirus St. Luke's Superior Clinic - Eye Care

I sliced my finger open and needed stitches, so I went to the nearest urgent care center, and what a mistake I made going here. The receptionist, Leslie, was rude from the very start. As I stand there, bleeding through bandages, she takes extra time to help the person in front of me, and then threatens to not help me because in my pain, I used the "F" word while talking to my fiance, who had to drive me there. It took over 20 minutes to even see a doctor after Leslie took my information, all the while still bleeding through my bandages. Never would I ever go there again, I would rather drive to duluth to go to Essentia, even though it's three times as far away than the Mariner clinic. I would also like to point out, almost all their 5 star reviews say nothing of their experience, but everyone who rated this clinic 3 and under, most are 1 star reviews, shared similar experiences! A rude, judgemental receptionist, who I can only assume was Leslie, as I had a great receptionist when I went in the next day to report Leslie's rude demeanor, followed by a much longer than average wait time. Please, if you're looking for a good clinic, do not go here, and if you are from this clinic, get out.

I have had nothing but good experiences with the staff and medical personnel at this clinic. Urgent care, understandably, does take time, however as this is a walk-in I knew I would have to wait as it is on a first come, first serve basis. (I also think its based on the severity of a person's symptoms) When seeing my doctor, I have not had to wait above 5 minutes to be called into her office, nor above 5 minutes to see her. I have definitely and will continue to do so, recommended this clinic to my friends and family.

After an initial visit that was great, my second one was a nightmare. I have never been treated so poorly in my entire life! This woman is extremely judgemental, accusing and rude with no merit as to reason. She spent 10 minutes complaining and then when I needed to discuss an issue with my doctor(or so I thought), she told me I had "two minutes" and slammed her paperwork on the desk! She said several rude things to me and had me to sobbing tears by the time she answered "fine" when I asked her if I should see myself out. Needless to say, I filed a complaint with the director at St. Luke's! Just DISGUSTING to know that she is in this profession treating patients like dirt.

Waited two hours before anyone even saw me. I arrived at 10:10 am when they opened at 10 am. I waited in the waiting room for over an hour then pulled back into a separate room waiting for a doctor and waited over an hour there by myself. The PA was very short and seemed as if he was rushing me.

I call to get my prescription filled I do what they say I call the pharmacy 10 days ahead then I call them again 3 days before there due I drive 2.5 hours every month I get here after calling them this morning then I still have to wait 2 hours in the waiting room for the Dr to sign it It was due 2 days ago every month it's the same stuff this is really making me angry I work 2nd shift so they are aware of this cause I call them before I leave home so now I'm gonna be late for work again I'm so fed up!

Not the best experience. Left there feeling like the wind got knocked out of my sails :-/
