Fluegge Optical

Fluegge Optical in Waterford is an hour & 10 minutes from Hartford. It was worth every mile. My Silhouette rimless frames broke at the left temple the day before I was leaving for a seminar in MPLS. It was recommended that I go to Fluegge. I had to wait less than 15 minutes and they were extremely professional and replaced the temple on the spot for $40, which is a great price if you're familiar with Silhouette glasses. I will happily make the drive again and encourage others to go and experience their service.

I recently received a new prescription for my glasses, but my local shop told me that their lab no longer made full-width trifocals, and they didn't know of any labs that did. Having worn full-width trifocals for almost 40 years as an ATP pilot and fairly heavy computer user. I went online and found Fluegge Optical. Although initially leery about using a mail order type of service, I called and spoke with Dale who said they still did full-width trifocals and could fill my new prescription with no problems. Before sending Dale my frames, I found an old pair of Randolph aviation sunglasses and asked if he could put the same prescription in those frames as sunglasses. He replied, of course, so I sent him both frames. His turn around was fast and the glasses that I received are amazing. I cannot recommend Dale and Fluegge Optical enough. His work ethic and attention to details and to customer service are things that you rarely find in today's world. Thanks, Dale!

Dale did an awesome job for me. At 50 my eyes need more help than most. Dale created a bifocal lens in a shooting sports frame that lets me read down range impacts in the PRS far better than any lens/frame option I've tried previously. Give him a call.

They have a great selection of new glasses and wonderful people to help you select the pair that is right for you. They surprised us at how quickly the new glasses were available even. We had a wonderful experience. A gal met us at the door. I explained what I need. I tried at least 50 different glasses. I have never see so many glasses. The best part was I got them within 3 days. They have a lab. I will definitely go again what I need new glasses.

I was amazed at the service provided by Fluegge Optical especially by Dale Fluegge. I have been looking for shooting p for years and was referred to Dale. Not only did I get amazing glasses but it only took 3 days. Other places take 2-3 weeks. I got my glasses (Bifocals) and tried them on and was thrilled and said I'd like regular glasses made and Dale said wait and be sure they were good for me. After reading all of the reviews here I called Fluegge Optical and received the same treatment I read about. The. customer service is unbelievable!! The receptionist's are incredibly friendly and helpful. Dale Fluegge makes himself available to listen and learn about the issues you have and formulates a plan to build glasses just for you. He did just that and I had them delivered to Florida in two days!! The glasses needed to be tweaked and I talked with Dale on what the problem was and he said no problem. I sent them back and quickly received them after the correction and they are now PERFECT. Thank you Dale and your entire team. You make lives much better through your caring service.

I had great service and great results from my custom lenses. I ordered custom lenses designed for competing in Precision Rifle shooting sports. They absolutely work when using them in conjunction with a scope. Fluegge knows exactly how to set up the lenses in the frames for this use case.
