Zero stars is not an option, hence the 1 star. In early November 2024, my elderly, disabled mother picked up a new pair of eyeglasses from Dr. Edwards office. At the time of pick up, she told the staff they were wrong and she couldn't see. The office staff proceeded to gaslight her saying it would take time for her eyes to adjust and she was forced to "just try them". She was also told she had 3 months to decide to keep them or not. My mothers health then declined drastically and i brought her to Texas for medical and vision care. I took her to optometrist in Texas for a new exam and the prescription was wildly different from what Dr. Edwards prescribed and produced in the eyeglasses received in November. The first week of December we returned the incorrect eyeglasses via mail with a request for refund, which Dr. Edwards office refused to do. They offered a new appointment/exam which was impossible to do when my mom was now relocated to another state. This practice is a disgrace to 1. try to convince a patient they are overreacting when the new eyeglasses arent correct and 2. Unreasonable/unwilling to make any accomodation for a unique situation and 3. Seemingly is comfortable in taking advantage of an elderly, disabled woman. $500 may not be a lot to Dr Edwards, but its a lot to an 80 year old woman on a fixed income. I'd highly recommend people look for a vision provider who has honor, integrity, and adequate clinical skills.

Nathan is great at what he does. His diagnostic skills are excellent and his chair-side manner is great. Highly recommend him to anyone and that would include my own family.
