Our family had such a great experience at Lander Vision. From the moment we walked in, everyone was so accommodating and friendly. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right for each of us. They were prompt, professional, and genuinely caring. The clinic itself is incredibly clean, cozy, and welcoming--it feels warm and inviting the second you walk through the door. We truly appreciate how they take the extra time to make you feel comfortable and cared for. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality care and a friendly atmosphere.

Dr. Lancaster was attentive and kind during my son's exam. He was patient and answered all of my son's questions. My husband also had a great experience with Dr. Lancaster and his staff. He was helpful in fitting glasses and suggesting the right lenses. You can tell he cares about the community he is serving.

We've been repeatedly disappointed by Dr. Lancaster's support staff. This is a difficult problem because we have enjoyed the medical expertise of Dr. Lancaster. Unfortunately, we've had a laundry list of issues and can't in good faith endorse this practice. Most frustrating, we've had repeated instances of surprise bills. Most of the times the surprise bills were caused by the staff, and occasionally Dr Lancaster himself, having incorrect assumptions about insurance coverages and making bad recommendations based on those mistakes but once it was cause by the staff being unable to do correct arithmatic. Despite their obvious struggles during my visit to calculate billing totals and make change for my cash payment none of the staff seemed to implement note taking or calculators to prevent the kind of mistake they made with my billing. They should also implement note taking when addressing customers. It seems every time our family has had a billing or medical question it gets passed around from staff member to staff member as you're repeatedly subjected to the soul crushing task of reexplaing yourself several times as your original message/request gets subjected to a brutal game of "telephone" between staff who are only half listening. Most egregiously they burned my glasses and caused my 5 year old to fall on his face during his exam. After paying $400+ dollars for my glasses a staff member subjected them to heat for an adjustment but they scarred the glasses material with burn marks and bubbles. Unfortunately, I have severely impaired vision and can't afford not to have my glasses for any amount of time so I had to just deal with it. My son was hurt in their care when a particularly uncharismatic staff member asked him to tip toe on top of the edge of small wooden stool she provided to reach a machine after she was unable to figure out how to adjust it to the small child's height. She encouraged him to reach higher by standing up on his tip toes which caused him to wobble and the whole stool flipped over and my child smacked his chin on the machine on his way down. He was hurt enough to cry for some time. After my son calmed down I tried to tell the doctor the stool wasn't safe and that the machine should have been moved to his height instead of asking him to balance in his tip toes on it and he offered the brief explanation that the staff member was new. This implies the person simply didn't know how to use the machine in a safe matter and this was extremely disappointing to hear from the people we trust our children's care to. We were also disappointed the last time I needed acute care. I developed sudden partial vision loss and called in to the office with in minutes of it beginning. It became apparent that they had absolutely no training or protocol for a patient who has sudden vision loss and when they suggested I come in the next day and I asked if they were sure if it's safe to wait that long for medical care. They simply said they didn't know because they hadn't heard of anything like that. I totally lost confidence and hung up. I went out on a limb and called my old eye doctor. The person who answer the phone there- when confronted with the exact same complaint immediately followed up with a few demographic questions to pull up my patient record- reported back to the dr and the dr had them ask me some critical follow up questions. They proposed that what I was experiencing was an occular migraine. They offered me two things: come in immediately for an exam before the doctor went home- or see if the blindness passes shortly and told me if it did I could wait till the next day to be seen but if the blindness didn't pass and the doctor was already out for the day to seek care in the emergency room. Now that's care! The smallest of my grievances with this office is that they've repeatedly called to tell me to come pick up my contact lenses but when I get there I find out they only have lenses for one eye and would need to make a second trip into the office to collect the lenses for the other eye. How annoying.

I called Lander Vision because my new glasses were making me dizzy. The receptionist told me I needed to come in to have them adjusted, so I left work and drove 30 minutes to their office. When I arrived, no one actually checked or adjusted my glasses. Instead, I was told that since I didn't "upgrade" my lenses, I was probably allergic to the lens compound--and that was the end of the appointment. So apparently, my glasses are making me sick because I didn't pay for an upgrade? I left without any help or adjustment and drove another 30 minutes back to work. I should have listened to my co-workers who had similar experiences here and gone to the eye doctor in Riverton instead. Very disappointing experience.

I stopped using this office a long time ago because I have twice endured frustrating sagas of billing and insurance issues that should have been avoidable that resulted in me footing a nearly $700 bill I wasn't expecting and would have never racked up if it weren't for their bad advice. I didn't want to complain but I have since heard from several friends that they had similar experiences here that they have never dealt with elsewhere. There appears to be a concerning pattern that needs to be improved if this practice wants to have any kind of reputation left.

So good with children! My little girl who needed her eyes checked was scared, but Dr. Lancaster was so sweet and kind. The visit turned out to be the highlight of her day!

Service was good staff was friendly. Just wish they were more clear before hand all the extra charges (even with insurance) instead of after everything was done. Had to remind them I paid my fee when they tried to charge me again to get my prescriptions and pick up my glasses. Don't think I'll go back there.

Dr. Lancaster and staff are friendly and professional. They were so helpful and patient as I worked through my insurance and billing issues last year. I have diabetes and I fully trust Dr. Lancaster and his staff with all of my eye care needs.
