My first visit, years ago was random looking for a better eye Dr. Lucky for me, Dr. Kim saw me and explained why I was having issues seeing correctly. My eyes didn't need that much correction but there were unique issues with my eyes causing my prior prescriptions to always be off. Unfortunately we moved 3 times after leaving and I had to find a new doctor each time. They all said, you don't need the type glasses she had given me. I had problems for 15 years seeing correctly. I rarely went more than twice to the same eye doctor in those years. We finally moved back within 3 hours. Tried the doctor here twice and decided to drive to see Dr Kim. I can now see correctly again. Your choice in your eye Dr. can make a difference if you feel like you are having issues seeing like you should. Although all those doctors could get me close those years away from Rock Springs, it wasn't right. Dr. Kim is amazing and will take the time to make sure you get the best vision possible. I've been going to this eye doctor since I was a little girl, and after moving back to Rock Springs about two years ago, I scheduled an eye exam because my vision has been getting worse. The staff at the front were friendly, and before my appointment, I looked around at glasses. However, I didn't like that none of the frames had prices listed -- that was disappointing. When I went in for my appointment, the assistant went over my medical history and did a computerized scan of my eyes, which was fine. Then I met with Dr. Ramsey. I explained that I have ADHD and dyslexia, and that it takes me a little longer to process visual changes, so I asked him to please go slower when switching between lenses. Unfortunately, even after asking several times, he continued moving through them very quickly. I felt rushed and frustrated -- my time with him was maybe five minutes total. Before my appointment, I had already mentioned that I usually order my glasses from Zenni, but before Dr. Ramsey dismissed me, he told me to talk to "the girls out there" to find a pair my insurance would cover. That's the only reason I even checked with them about in-office options. Every pair I liked ranged from $250-$400, and when I asked if there were any fully covered frames, they brought me to the children's section and showed me only five pairs. At that point, I decided to take my prescription and order online. When I received my new glasses, I realized the prescription wasn't right -- it's given me headaches almost every day since. The doctor had written me the same prescription as the automated scan, even though I told him my vision was worsening. I've never had an amazing experience here, but I've also never had a bad one -- until this visit. I left feeling rushed, unheard, and disappointed, especially after trusting this clinic for so many years.

From Georgia, in town for a rodeo and my daughter woke up with vision problems. Found them online. Got an appointment quick and taken back soon as we arrived. Dr Kim was great. (even gave us her cell number incase we had problems after hours) She told us everything she was doing and what she was seeing. Everyone was super friendly. Very happy with our experience.

It was good to finally get to see a eye doctor he did and check everything that he had to check for my eyes I will definitely be going back it's a very good place to go when you need eye care that's for sure.

I absolutely adore Dr. Kim and all the staff of Family Vision Clinic. They are attentive, caring, and extremely helpful. The eye exams are always timely and thorough. The frame selection offered is fantastic. My daughters and I are very picky and had no problems finding something we all liked. 100% recommend if looking for a new optometrist or looking to transfer services.

We went in for an annual checkup on my 8yo &5yo. Waiting room is clean and spacious. Staff was friendly. The gal who did the initial testing was so great. Very patient with kiddos, how easily they get distracted and chatter on. She was great with keeping them on task, but in a gentle manner. The Dr was friendly. He did take the time to answer my question about astigmatism for my 8yo (who was examined first) But it did feel like once he realized we wouldn't need glasses, that we were being pushed out the door. Overall was happy with our experience and will make appointments there again in the future.

I've been a patient of Dr. Kim's for years and she is just the best. She is so personable and great at communicating during your eye exam to let you know what she is doing and why. She is so patient with difficult or anxious patients like myself. I always feel well taken care of and their staff is great; always so helpful and friendly.

Friendly office staff, Ashley is awesome. My whole family have been seeing Dr Canestrini for many years. He is the absolute best eye doctor around. So knowledgeable and caring. Wouldn't think of going anywhere else!
