Best eye hospital in UP, Staff and doctor are very good. Hospital cleanness is also upto mark. Only a little suggestions for management that, kindly increase services and support staff because patients count is very high and it's may be lead waiting time for outside patients. A part from that all things are best and Good work team. keep healthy vision to all

I visited R J Shankara Eye Hospital in Varanasi for my father's cataract (motiyabind) treatment, and I would like to share my experience to highlight areas that need improvement. Registration Process: The registration process was extremely time-consuming, taking almost an hour. The staff appeared slow and inefficient, which caused unnecessary delays for patients. Basic Eye Check-Up: The basic eye check-up took around 2 hours, primarily due to the sluggish pace of the staff. Compared to other eye hospitals, the staff's efficiency here was notably poor, leading to prolonged waiting times. Doctors' Availability: The doctors at the hospital did not seem highly professional or experienced. For a hospital of this stature, I expected more skilled and qualified medical professionals to ensure quality care. Charges: The registration fee was ₹300, which is reasonable. However, I was advised to undergo normal pathology tests (e.g., CBC, blood glucose) for my father's cataract surgery, priced at ₹2800. I found this exorbitant, as the same tests are available at other pathology labs for just ₹680. This significant price difference raises concerns about the hospital's pricing transparency. Overall Feedback: Given that this hospital was inaugurated by PM Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, and promoted by Mrs. Rekha Jhunjhunwala as a charitable institution with affordable services, I had high expectations. Unfortunately, my experience did not reflect these claims. The hospital does not seem to prioritize affordability or efficiency, and the staff's lackadaisical approach further diminishes the patient experience. I urge the hospital management to address these issues—improve staff efficiency, ensure transparent and reasonable pricing, and employ more experienced doctors—to truly serve as a charitable and patient-friendly institution.

I visited Shankara Hospital, Varanasi, for my wife's eye check-up. The doctors and staff here are very good, and the ground floor manager, Deepmala, is extremely kind and helpful. I would like to share my positive review about them.

Very friendly staff, doctors are there for every specialty and give proper time to patients. TPA desk is also very helpful. They have a canteen where you can food at genuine rates. The only issue is because of the trust, you have to wait for longer times so better to show up eary in the morning

A very good eye hospital cost is affordable and lower than the private hospitals in Varanasi.

I recently had the privilege of getting my father treated at R J Shankara Eye Hospital in Varanasi, and I must say the entire experience was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the professionalism and warmth shown by the staff were truly commendable. The hospital is well-maintained, equipped with advanced technology, and offers a high standard of care. Special thanks to Shweta Tiwari ji, whose compassionate coordination and constant support made our journey smooth and stress-free. Her genuine concern and prompt assistance throughout the treatment process were deeply appreciated. A heartfelt thank you also goes out to Dr. Rahul and Dr. Ridhi Arya, whose expertise and patient-centered approach ensured my father received the best possible care. Their clear communication, attention to detail, and reassuring manner gave us immense confidence and peace of mind. I would also like to express sincere gratitude to Vinay ji, Anees ji, and Gaurav ji for their incredible support and helpfulness at every step. Their dedication and kindness truly reflect the high standards of this hospital. I wholeheartedly recommend R J Shankara Eye Hospital Varanasi to anyone seeking world-class eye care with a human touch.
