I feel that I have been misled and treated unfairly. In 2022, I went to Vision Care Hospital for cataract surgery on my right eye. Dr. Shakeel Ahmad recommended that I opt for a Panoptic IOL lens, which cost around 1.30 lac. I trusted his advice and went ahead with the procedure. However, just two days after the surgery, I realized that I couldn’t see clearly. When I updated Dr. Shakeel about this issue, he gave me different excuses and failed to address the problem. Today, my vision is such that I need to wear glasses with a prescription of +0.5 for seeing clearly at a distance of just 2 meters. This experience has significantly impacted my life, and I feel that Dr. Shakeel Ahmad’s actions have caused irreversible harm.
