ASG Eye Hospital

Extremely Unprofessional and Money-Minded. My parents had a terrible experience at ASG Eye Hospital, Mahmoorganj, Varanasi. The staff was highly uncooperative and seemed more interested in extracting money than providing quality care. Despite having a valid insurance policy, they refused to accept a soft copy, which is completely unreasonable in today’s digital age. As a result, my elderly parents—one of whom was undergoing cataract surgery—were made to wait for 6 to 7 hours without food or proper assistance. There was a complete lack of empathy, basic hospitality, and professional responsibility. For a hospital claiming to specialize in eye care, their treatment of senior citizens was inhumane and disgraceful. If you value your time, money, and dignity—I strongly advise you to think twice before visiting this branch.

I visit ASG Varanasi and meet DR Pratyush Ranjan. He underwent lensic surgery. He has very good nature and polite behavior and I am very satisfied with the entire ASG team and all the staff are very well behaved... Glad to be here...

In this hospital doctor are really good. Even most of the staff are also very helpful apart from few staff who can completely ruin your days. There was one particular who are really disgusting person and made sure my experience is very bad. On ground floor receptionist name is Gaurav. He seems somekind of boss to all the staff. But he thinks he can boss around the customer as well. I had a two time very bad encounter, there was one time I had to get the refund of my opd fee. One of the staff from the 2nd floor assisted me. Once he heard about the refund he got very very angry and throw the paper on his left side and said baad me karunga. Other girl staff saw this, and helped me get the refund very politely. I let it go because I thought he is very busy and had a bad days. Next time I went to him for surgery, I politely asked him that sir other day mam said to give discount for the surgery, why I am being charged extra. He gave the same angry type of attitude that I am asking his kidneys. Instead of decling the request politely he rudely said that in cashless we don't give discount. For information, in cashless, only insurance paying 30k to 40k. Thanks to high tarif rate of this hospital. He then added go talk to any body. I still don't know why he added last line. This person really needed to improve his social skill.

I had my contoura surgery done on 4th May 2025, at ASG EYE HOSPITAL, Mahmoorganj , Varanasi and it has been 4 days to my surgery now which was done by Dr. Pratyush Ranjan Sir. I had hyper-myopic eyesight but now after surgery my eyes are completely fine and i have got my eyesight back. The whole experience was excellent and Dr. Pratyush and his team have always been a great help and extremely supportive

One thing I liked the most about this hospital is their staff behaviour. Seems the staffs are well trained, friendly and attentive. The doctor will listen to you in details, will brief u about each and everything so that the patient will become comfortable. This hospital has latest machines which u may not be able to find in other hospitals.

My father had a cataract surgery by Dr. Sajid. It went well and the experience was good. Just the turn around time for every test and consultation is more.

Im very happy with my treatment which is done by dr kartikey singh he is very good and skillful doctor staff os asg are very cooperative and supportive fully satisfied with everything..
