The security of Disha Eye Hospital is so bad that now there are not more than 3,4 cameras on the ground floor in the hospital and thieves are roaming everywhere, your money and bags are not safe in the hospital, so take care of your bags and money

A simple eye checkup and test takes 5-6 hours here. They keep sending you from one room to other repeatedly. Doctors are seeing patients in bulk which further affects the time being spent on a patient. For a appointment too, they will give a date after two weeks. They are just focused on quantity of the patients not the quality. The only good thing about this hospital is that consultation is cheap, as cheap as the services they provide. Not recommended.

One of the worst communication services I have seen afar. Please keep trained executives at your behest so that they have the basics of picking up calls and providing information instead of keeping all the sources closed. Your duty is not limited to admitting the patient and ranting over, it extends far beyond that ,till the services are completed . Worst !

The only good thing about this hospital is the treatment and very experienced doctors. Otherwise, their management sucks, they don’t know how to talk to senior citizens, they feel like they are doing charity. Not a single person I have interacted with are soft spoken. They forgot their roots that in medical science compassion is greater than medicines, I would highly recommend they hire some educated and soft spoken people across all departments.

Disha Eye Hospital is definitely one of best places for treatment of eyes in West Bengal. Barrackpore is the best centre and it is oldest of all the centres. Poor and rich, irrespective of their socio-economic background can avail of facilities provided by this renowned Hospital.

My overall experience with the hospital was pretty good. Doctors are experienced and the whole process is smooth and fast. But some of the staff's behaviour with mainly the aged patients is rude.

This is one of the best eye hospitals in the state. The hospital has all the latest technological devices and proper management. The behaviour of staff is appropriate and the maintenance of hospital is top level. The hospital is a 5 minute walk from Barrackpore Railway station. One can take prior appointment and also take day to day appointment. The fees for prior appointment is Rs.200 and for same day appointment is Rs.250 from December 2021. The treatment process is run very smoothly and the doctors are specialized in their fields. One can trust the treatment here without any doubt.
