I visited Disha Eye Hospital, Durgapur, and had a positive experience overall. The waiting time here is unreasonably long. Even though appointments are given—for example, at 11:15 a.m.—there seems to be little consideration for sticking to the schedule. Patients with serious health conditions like diabetes are still made to wait for 3 to 4 hours if they are not labeled as “priority.” Surprisingly, even children above 5 years old are considered priority over adults with chronic conditions. There is a clear lack of system in handling the patient flow, and the staff appears unable to manage the resulting chaos. If certain patients are to be prioritized, then the appointment times should be scheduled accordingly so others are not left waiting indefinitely. While the doctors themselves are skilled, the lack of empathy and poor organization seriously affect the overall patient experience. This is something that urgently needs attention. The canteen management is also quite disappointing. During peak lunch hours, patients and their attendants are asked to wait outside. There is no alternative space available for patients to sit and eat, which is especially difficult given the long waiting times for appointments. Many patients end up spending several hours at the facility. It's unfair and inconsiderate to not accommodate the basic needs of patients who are already dealing with health issues and extended delays.

One of the best Eye Hospital in West Bengal Circle with good doctors and facilities. Neat and clean, Peaceful enviornment. On the Ground floor also available Eye Glass shop and medicines shop. Located in well communicated area (Palasdiha) near city centre. Food, Snacks, tea coffee etc are also available outside the hospital. One issue there is of Parking. At the same spot there are confusing signboard of No Parking & Parking on the road side closer to the hospital. Rate chart of parking charges on the signboard is tempered, so un-readable. Amount collected for 4wheeler is ₹40.

A well-known, esteemed hospital for eye checkups and surgeries. My father operated cataract removed at this place. This hospital accepts all the mediclaim with cashless hospitalizations for surgeries. The hospital is very clean and air conditioned.Staff behaviour is good. Overall this hospital is one of the best eye hospitals in Raniganj Asansol Durgapur Burdwan coal belt area.

Great hospital with great facilities. Of utmost importance is its cheap but great facilities. Doctors are too very good and very well experienced and specialised. Very good service. Only issue is excessive crowds happen.

A good hospital for eye checkups and surgeries. Many of my relatives had their cataract removed at this place and generally have given positive reviews of their experiences. This place accepts cashless hospitalizations for surgeries and deal with insurance issues themselves and able to provide 100% coverages for surgeries. The OPD experience is very methodical too and appointment times are maintained in a pretty good manner. It could be better to see working airconditioning in working areas as the place gets too crowded and becomes very uncomfortable on a hot and humid day, especially for older patients.

This Hospital do fraud with inocent people. After insurance claim and pre approval of cashless claim they send false edited pdf to patient and ask for money saying claim was only approved for less amount almost 40% where as insurance company claim approval days 90% and when representative from insurance company try to speak to hospital they avoid taking call. Once all this was brought to light then hospital come up saying yes claim was done 90% . It's clear case of cheating. Look like management is not at all stict with Audit. I request if this post reached to some government office do make sure a proper Audit is done.

I asked the TPA counter whether they have cashless treatment facility or not whereas this hospital in empanelled under West Bengal health scheme 2014. They told me at first I have to deposit package amount of one surgical procedure and after ot os over I shall be produce bill and I am to claim the treatment expenses against full payment I have to pay for ot. This was not known to me rather opposite thing was in my knowledge. I feel astonisned how it can be like this!!! WBHS authority should interven this matter.
