Very good hospital. Doctors and staff are sincere and cordial. High rise building of hospital and medical college. Emergency service is also 24×7. Modern equipment and mode of treatment is available here for free of cost.

Barasat District Hospital is the only reliance for the treatment of Barasat town and surrounding villages. It was established many years ago. Thousands of patients come here every day for treatment. The service is a bit better than before. This hospital has been dirty for a long time. But now it is kept clean regularly. The behavior of the hospital staff is better than before. There are many departments, including the emergency department. There is a resting place for the patient's family, day and night ambulance service and a fair price medicine store. However, so far many critical patients have been transferred to hospitals in Kolkata. This hospital failed to provide quality fast service. This hospital failed to take the pressure of millions of people as there was no other big hospital nearby. The hospital does not have high quality equipment, surgery, high quality medicine and high quality doctors.

Cleaned area. Now also provide Covid vaccine here. It's also place for Covid patients. 26/07/2021-- I got 2nd doses for my parents. Below 60 years vaccine is available through slot booking in Cowin website.

It's a barasat medical collage nd hospital where I was trying for last one hour to connect the emergency department but no one answered. Not responding. Is this sis the kind of service this medical collage nd hospital are providing to our common people ???

It's a government hospital, totally free service available. Ambience is quite crowded, over all treatment is good & behaviour of doctors, nurses, staffs okay as we know.

Barasat medical college and hospital is in Barasat state general hospital located near Champadalli on the jessore road.It is also near kazi para railgate.This college is built nearly two years ago.All hostel for boys and girls are available and nicely built with all modern facilities.Location of this college is in a prime spot.communication to this institute is also very very convenience.Barasat railway station is less than One km.Students from Habra Bongaon Basirhat dum dum is very much affordable.

Barasat Government Medical College and Hospital is a newly developed medical college under CSS II. This Medical College is situated on a 20.53 acres land in the existing campus of Barasat District Hospital, Barasat, Mouza- Banamalipur (JL No:- 80) & Uttarhat (JL No:-78) North 24 parganas, West Bengal. PIN-700124. As at present North 24 Parganas is the most populous District in India so the establishment of this Medical Institution will cater patients care service to a large population. Directorate of Medical Education, Government of West Bengal is the regulatory authority.100 MBBS students. Students will be admitted annually through NEET(NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST) (UG) from 2022-23 session after obtaining from letter of permission from National Medical Council. DNB courses on different disciplines with a total of 16 seats allotted by NBE are already running in this Institution. The foundation stone of this Medical College was laid by Honbl’e Chief Minister of West Bengal Smt Mamata Banerjee on 22nd February, 2019. The Barasat Government Medical College and Hospital College is comprising of teaching block, administrative block, a new OPD complex, Students’ hostel, residents’ doctors’ quarters, Nurses’ quarters, Teaching staffs’ quarters and Non-Teaching staffs’ quarters.

I practiced here for three years.now it is changed a lot.the ambience is much better and cleaned. The administration did great job to take care of this Hospital. The round park inside this Hospital is beautiful.all speciality doctors are available round the clock.people from all the corners of west Bengal are benefitted by the service of this Hospital.
