I went to meet Dr S. Basu at the centre, for I had been going to him for a few years now, but met Dr. Nandini Chandak there, to whom I was directed by Dr. Basu. I have to appreciate the calm approach of Dr. Chandak who explained in detail about the cataract forming in my Left Eye, the course of treatment, the pros and cons. Once I decided to go for the surgery, she even guided me on how to apply for mediclaim cover, the papers needed, something which no Dr has done in the past leaving it to the agent. Highly appreciate her caring nature! And, when one does not follow her instructions on taking care of the eye post-surgery and even during surgery, she gives a mild rebuke too.... the care which is needed! Loved it, as I was at the receiving end. I recommend her services to anyone in need of eye-care.
