Incredible doctor and a really good person in general. My mother had suffered a sudden vitreous haemorrhage and he treated her perfectly. Her vision is fine now all thanks to Dr. Prasad.

This is Mrs Subhra Coomer and I am 64 years old. I just want to share my experience to help many others who are suffering from RATINA related eye problem like me and hence this upload. On 16th February'2022 during my regular eye check up it was detected that I had Ratina related disease in my right eye. The left eye is also marginally effected.On hearing that I was shocked and totally devastated till I met Dr.SOMDUTT PRASAD. On 18th February'2022 I visited DR.Prasad's chamber at Fortis for the first time. As I entered into his chamber he gleefully welcomed me. His face was covered with a mask. In spite of that I could make out that actually he was receiving me with a smile of assurances. Immediately I started feeling that I am with an absolutely right doctor for my treatment and my fifty percent agony had gone immediately. Dr.Prasad very attentively listened to my problems related to my vision and checked my both the eyes thoroughly. His diagnosis was "Vitreo - Macular Traction with Cystic change in Fovea".He told me that the only answer to my problem is operation. I was not much of worried even hearing the word Operation since all his words thereafter regarding my recovery were so assuring. I didn't even think to take second opinion though my friends /relatives wanted me to do so. On 25th February '22 morning Dr. Prasad operated on my right eye. It took forty minutes to complete the process though I was told it will take about an hour. During operation Dr. Prasad was kind enough to be hugely supportive with all his words of encouragement. In fact I didn't realise at all that I had undergone a difficult operation. I was released from the hospital within about three hours after operation appraising me well regarding post operative care for next six days and medications for next one month. I visited again Dr. Prasad on 28th February '22. Checking my operated eye he expressed his satisfaction on my recovery. Now after six days of operation I am back to my normal life. Right from detection of the disease and my recovery everything happened so quickly. It was possible only for the brilliance of Dr. Prasad. I must also mention here that I didn't experience even a little pain so far barring blurred vision at present which according to Dr. Prasad, will remain at least for 3/4 weeks. It needs a special mention that the whole process became easier and painless for me because of nice behavior, dealing and unique skills of Dr Prasad. In my opinion he is very good both professionally and as a person. I will definitely recommend him to whomever seeks help for eye surgery. I wish Dr. Prasad all the very best, successful and pleasant future. I experienced floaters and no one explained me what had happened.I was spending sleepless nights until I met Dr Prasad.He calmly answered my queries and explained my condition.Thankyou Sir.

Dr prasad save my eyes from complete blindness. He is god for me. He operated and repair my multiple hole in my retina. As I am a patient of detachment of retina.
