My mother's surgery is done here by Dr Supratik Banerjee. He is a very efficient and best eye surgeon in siliguri. The support staff of the institute are also very good and explained everything very clearly..

One of the leading eye hospitals of North Bengal, The Himalayan Eye Institute offers a great service to the patients of this area since long. Just beside Bardhaman Road of Siliguri the hospital is easily accessible. The renowned opthalmologists of Siliguri are attached with the hospital and delicate eye surgery is done almost daily. I myself met the patients from entire North Bengal and neighbouring Assam. The hospital is divided into two parts. Towards Air View on the right side of Bardhaman Road in the eye clinic one can visit the doctor, go through blood tests and future plan. Just opposite on the left side of the road on 4th Floor one may go through surgery if needed. All the staff including security, liftman, canteen cook are really helpful. Special thanks to the OPD and IPD Staff. They are trained enough, well behaved and cordial. Wish all the best for this institution.

Had excellent experience with Dr. Supratik Banerjee from 2019 as he operated cataract of both of my eyes. Today I got my wife's right eye operated by him only as I had trust and confidence in him. It was again an amazing experience. The service of all support staff , in particular, the lady counseling for the medicinal part and follow -up was very cordial. It was a nice experience. The doctors are really good. Only thing to improve on is the wait time. At times it takes longer hours than expected.
