I went to this office as a first-time patient to discuss my chronic eye condition, keratitis simplex, and request a letter for school accommodations. The doctor seemed unfamiliar with the condition and confused when I explained my symptoms. Despite the nurse already testing my vision, he unnecessarily repeated the eyesight exam and suggested glasses, which are not relevant for keratitis. He refused to provide a basic diagnostic letter, stating a standard doctor's note would be enough, even though my condition is episodic and can be severely debilitating and does impair my learning at Auburn. I left feeling dismissed and unsupported. I would caution others with chronic or complex eye conditions to confirm the doctor's experience with such cases before scheduling.

No diagnosis, no follow up plan, nothing constructive. The impression I left with was that unless there's a surgical procedure involved, he has little interest in helping patients. For someone dealing with a potentially serious complication, this level of dismissiveness is not only frustrating but concerning. I should have listen to the bad reviews I saw and cancelled my appointment.

I took my son to Dr Sepanski about 4 years back when my son was 16. And I never got a chance to write a review. I had been going to Whatley eye care for years for my children. My son vision was getting worse with each visit to Whatley and I was being told there was nothing that could be done. My son couldn't even pass the vision test at the DMV which brought the severity to my attention. A relative recommended Dr Sepanski and on the first visit he examined my son and immediately sent him to a specialist in Montgomery. At Montgomery Eye Physicians. my son was diagnosed with Keratoconus and needed surgery. And special contacts. My son was eventually able to get his license and can see better than ever. I recommend Dr Sepanski to everyone I know.

Awesome improvement after both cataracts R&R with implants! No more need for Glasses! My surgeries went extremely smooth and the follow-up care was just as I was told during initial consultation. Gosh, what ever held me back from doing this long ago? He and his staff were very welcoming and going the extra mile to answer any and all questions. My research and recommendations let me to consult him; I'm extremely pleased I did. Staff were extremely patient; with each professionally doing their specific job. Wait time well below fifteen minutes. The efficiency I observed is spot-on. I've seen my share of physicians and wholeheartedly recommend this practice as one of the premiere examples of how patient care should be done. I dare say he has put together a very well-managed team that has found a "sweet spot" of balancing efficiency and caring patient service. IMHO, Dr. Sepanski is the go-to ophthalmologist in the Auburn/Opelika area.

Wondering what to believe and who to trust with your eye care? Don't blame you. Here's my story. I've been a patient of Dr. Sepanski for over a decade. Prior to that, my parents were patients for many years and both my in-laws are currently patients. With a widespread family history of glaucoma, I have to take eye care very seriously. For that reason, I chose to place the welfare of my eyesight in the hands of Dr. Sepanski and have never looked back or regretted that decision. You get straight talk with him, which is what I like and appreciate. Fortunately, I have no trace of glaucoma but I do have cataracts and I suspect someday I'll have to undergo surgery to correct those. When you're in the operating room staring at a surgical knife, that's when you realize what doctor you have matters most! For my eyes, it'll be Dr. Sepanski. Professional care and professional service. They deliver it!

This is the best ophthalmologist in the Auburn/Opelika area hands down!!! Not only is he precise with care, he truly cares about his patients. I've never met or worked for a doctor so committed to his skill. He will stay late come in on the weekend come in during quarantine to see and take care of patients. We do not turn patients away. That is a TRUE doctor. His staff is extremely intelligent, continues to stay positive, and are some of the hardest workers I've ever met!!! I will and would recommend anyone in my family or anyone of my friends to see him!!

What a great experience! Dr. Sepansky performed cataract surgery on both my eyes, which has made a surprising difference. He is an expert Ophthalmologist and surgeon; inspires trust and confidence. Staff at Auburn Eye Physicians are warm, friendly and professional. No long waits for office visits! My husband and I give him our high marks!
