Had an eye appointment here after having a bad experience last year with a different office in town. Dr. Basden was helpful, made me feel heard, and I really enjoyed his attitude and demeanor! Basden has a new system!
Last year to order a pair of replacement glasses you would call, place order and they call you in a week for pickup..awesome!!
Now Basden's new system requires you to arrive at 1:10 sit until 1:30 then go remind the front desk you are there sit again until 1:40 for her to finally come out & say the child needs to be present bc they have no idea which ones she had or any information on the previous pair she ordered 9 months ago.
Picked a pair of glasses and walked out at 1:47.A 6 sec process took 37 mins! I'M DONE ANDMOVING ON!!

From the time I walked in, from check in to check out, every person that took care of me one way or the other were absolutely incredible, professional and extremely friendly! This was my 1st time here and my experience was amazing. Not to mention it was a fast process. Very impressive!

I took my wife here for her first appointment and was very disappointed. Dr. Godwin was very nice and the woman at the front desk on the left was also kind and helpful. But the other ladies in there were rude, unprofessional and don't know a lick about southern hospitality. I was charged for a fee I wasn't warned about and she insulted us talking to us like we were stupid kids. My wife has been wearing glasses and contacts her whole life and ha never once been treated with such disrespect and was very upset about it. We will not be coming back!

I visited to drop off my sister's glasses did repair. Everyone was courteous with a greeting until I got to "deep roots" who was collecting the money. No greeting, no hello, just basically saying workout words "give me the money." I thought she would have caught on when i said hello, but maybe she was having one of those days. Maybe next time.

The Dean rd location has come a long way!! I've used this optical team for years but switched locations because of the previous terrible office staff. They have made some huge improvements and I can now say I HIGHLY recommend BOTH locations. I love Dr Eagen and Dr Basden for my entire family!
