Hadley Eye Care

I changed to Dr. Hadley because of how she cares for my daughter through patching. She very informative and will take that little extra time to make sure you understand everything. She also cares a lot about her patients and seems to try to contact with you on a more personal level then just another patient pulling you in and then just pushing you. So if you want the best experience you have ever had for your vision go see Dr. Hadley.

I needed an exam by the end of the year before my insurance benefits ended. Waited too late to get an appointment with my regular, Dr Richardson. Hadley Eye Care was recommended by another office that was out of network, so I called them. Appointment process was easy and I got an appointment quickly. Overall good experience at Hadley Eye Care. The preliminary exam by an assistant was a bit rushed and somewhat aggressive feeling. The assistant was friendly but just poking things at my eye, sit here, look here, etc without any explanations of what was happening so I had a couple episodes of uncontrollable blinking and eye watering just from not knowing what to expect. Not a horrible experience but could have been better with a more gentle approach. The actual exam with Dr Hadley went well. I felt like she did a great job of reading me and took a more relaxed approach than she initially started with. Not sure about the rushed feel with the exams as there were no other patients in the waiting room. Perhaps I am just spoiled with Dr Richardson's laid back, quiet approach. Dr Hadley was thorough, very friendly and provided an accurate prescription for me. After the exam, a lady came out with a printout, telling me that my insurance was only a discount plan, offering a percentage off frames, lenses, etc. I told her that didn't make any sense because I have had the same insurance for years, Davis Insurance which pays up to $200 on frames, completely covers lenses, progressive, transitions... basically everything, except taxes. She replied, "That's what it says." She was nice about it but offered no help, disregarding what I was telling her about my insurance. Davis also has no copay for exams for in network, which Hadley told me ahead of time, they were in network. I paid, $30 at Hadley, $25 of which, I was expecting because I opted for the retinal imaging. I just paid the extra $5 without question. It was just $5 but I took my prescription to Eyemart Express who, without my mentioning it, immediately recognized something was wrong regarding my insurance and called the insurance company themselves to get it straightened out, which they did. I really have no reason to not recommend Hadley Eye Care, it was overall fine. Not a particularly bad experience since I took the prescription elsewhere which saved me a couple hundred dollars, atleast, just not the best eyecare experience I have had, all things considered.

It was a wonderful experience from the front desk to the tech and Dr. Hadley. I called and got an appointment the same day. I was in and out within 30 minutes. It could not have been any better. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone. I don't think you will be disappointed. They offer the Optomap option ($25) instead of dilation. I was super excited to take advantage of this offer!

Great experience with Hadley Eye Care and would highly recommend Dr. Hadley! She went above and beyond to help with issues both myself and my daughter have experienced since opening her new practice. Her office staff is friendly and helpful!

Most thorough eye exam i have ever had! 5 stars to Dr. Hadley!! The most friendly staff. Everyone there made me feel very welcome. I felt like family to the staff and Dr. Hadley!

I have very specific vision issues that have never been fully addressed in the past by other optometrists. After one visit with Dr. Hadley, we have a plan in place to work on these issues, and I have hope for the first time that I may finally experience improvements. I was so impressed with Dr. Hadley's knowledge and especially the concern and compassion she showed in addressing my needs. This carried down to the rest of her staff as well. I highly recommend Hadley Eye Care.
