Dr. Holcomb and team were outstanding during my two cataract surgeries some 8 months apart. Very thorough in evaluation and education on replacement lens options. Day 2 after second surgery, I've had two excellent outcomes. It has been 45 years since I have seen this well without corrective lenses, both glasses and contacts. Highly recommend this surgeon and practice.

The doctor and assistant were very lovely and incredibly patient and kind with my grandfather in law. If it weren't for the front desk and check out ladies it would've been 5 stars. We arrived early and I stated as such to the lady at the front. I was scolded for signing in too early. She could've greeted us and let us know but she didn't even look up at us when we stood in front of the desk waiting to be checked in. She refused to give me paperwork until 20 minutes later. Similar experience with the lady when we needed to check out. She couldn't look me in the eye or ask a preference in appointment day or time. She even side eyed me when I asked for a 1pm appointment time for a year out. It's unfortunate such a great team of doctors have such awful receptionists working for them.

Dr Nyalakonda is the absolute best! I was scared to death about having cataract surgery. I'm new to the area and know nothing about the doctors here. The whole staff from the front desk to checking out, the surgery centers, to the ones taking the payments have all been great, patient and understanding! I would refer anyone to these doctors.

I made an appointment for a routine exam and NOBODY told me about a $45.00 refractory charge that insurance wouldn't cover. I got to my appointment and was told at that time. I have two insurances. The second one is supposed to pay what the the first one doesn't. On the desk is a notice telling people that getting rowdy with the staff could result in felony charges. I wonder how many other people they have pulled this on in order for them to have to make a sign telling people that if they lose their cool , they could face felony charges against them. I HIGHLY recommend that people go elsewhere for their eye care. Keeping healthy eyes shouldn't come down to $45.00, ESPECIALLY when One already pays out the wazuu for insurance to begin with!

I highly recommend this provider for LASIK surgery. I had my initial surgery in May 2025. I was slightly overcorrected and Dr. Holcomb took special care to evaluate my vision and make the necessary adjustments to have a follow up procedure to fix everything. I had my second procedure in August and immediately gained the best vision I could ask for. The staff is very informative and kind. I'm planning to have my son have his surgery in 2026. This is a professional and accomplished provider that's committed to excellence. I highly recommend using Dr. Holcomb.

Dr. Gary Few had been out family eye doctor for 20+ years. We love him and appreciate his dedication to our eye care.

I had to do use a wet warm cloth on my eyelids and massage them ( At my exam I found out that not doing that step was not really needed). Applying the eyedrops 3 times a day was the most important. I gave them a 4 because my appt. was right after lunch and they did not get me in on my time slot. The atmosphere was good. I went to see about cataract surgery. Here is how my 2+ hr. visit went. I was asked ?'s about my health history and what my vision concerns were (I explained my concerns about my vision) overall that was a waste of time due to the fact that the testing they do on you will determine that. I was given the traditional eye exam and a Glare test. Then 3 other pieces of equipment was used to look at my eye's and overall health of the eye. Then my eye's were dilated for the Dr. to look at later. After the tests were done I was explained how cataracts are removed and lens options that was best for me. That would be my choice. Then I saw the Dr. for another visual exam that gave her an idea how bad my cataracts were. Turns out that I was not a good candidate because my cataracts are not bad enough. Now I wait until my vision gets to where my vision is less clear and fuzzy and distorted so to speak. Checked out and made an appt. for a future visit to monitor my vision.

Holcomb Laser Center has been fantastic. I had a retinal detachment in 2021 and due to complications with the retinal surgery, I needed cataract surgery. Dr. Holcomb, Dr. Few, Dr. Compton, Dr. Nyalakonda, and the staff have been a key part in my recovery and I can see 20/20 with that eye. ( which, according to retinal specialists, is a miracle in itself.) I highly recommend this practice!
