Insight Eye Care

Waiting an hour and a half for my daughter to be called back for her scheduled appointment. They either don't know how to schedule appointments or don't care. Just an observation from the parking lot. Beautiful brand new building.. all the windows filled with miscellaneous items. Coffee cups, water bottles, spray cans and numerous other thing's. Looks ghetto.

They say I made I follow up appointment, I NEVER MAKE A FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENT, DID NOT EVEN GET MY GLASSES THERE. First her husband gave me and okay exam, then she made me take another just 9 months later (just to bill insurance I am sure). She is a much better optometrist than her husband. Her office now states I owe for an appointment I never made. And Walmart Dr. will not take my insurance, Walmart will, just not the optometrist they have at Fort Payne. Anyone know of an optometrist in town that doesn't lie, doesn't force exams when not needed and then say you made an appointment, just to get more money from you, when you did not make an appointment? Also, Dr. April is way too busy to call back, ever...

Lots of trouble getting them to get my prescription correct for contacts. They ended up just reverting to what my old prescription was after the one they gave me made me motion sick (why not re-evaluate? It's what I paid them for.) and yet somehow sent that prescription to me typed incorrectly. I'd recommend going somewhere that knows what they're doing.

They are the best of the best from the office staff to the husband and wife team of Dr. McKissick's! They are so patient with you to be sure you get the correct prescription for your eyes.

I have been going here for a few years and absolutely love them! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Dr. April is great and always answers any questions I have.

They're fantastic. I had cataract surgery upon my arrival here in AL. They took EXCELLENT care of me before and after. (I had a problem with one eye after surgery, they took care of it.) I still go to them for all my eye care. I love both of the doctors there. They provided me with the very best care!! I highly recommend them. Their staff is very helpful and friendly.

Extremely poor customer service. Was not greeted upon arrival. Was never offered any assistance. The only person I saw was sitting behind a desk, totally unconcerned with her responsibilities. The selection of frames was very limited. I was very disappointed as I was expecting the same quality of service as I had received at the old location. I will not be back.

Been with them for years. Solid performance and great people.
