I had the most amazing experience today. Dr. Arello has the best personality ever and she is very intelligent . She actually shares knowledge about your eyes while you're having an exam. I felt like she was my professor lol. Never ever have a walked out of an establishment as such and bragged on an eye dr! SHE IS VERY THOROUGH!!!! Also, Salome was very friendly and helpful in picking out my glasses. I can't leave out LaQuita! She was very patient and kind. Overall 10/10 experience. Please visit Americas Best on Lakeshore

The service was very pleasant and the young lady was very nice, she replaced the noise grips on my glasses with a smile. That within sets the tone for great service. The only suggestion would be to introduce yourself and make it more personal. But nevertheless it was great.

Salome was VERY kind and helpful. I've been in two times in each time she has been wonderful! I honestly thought she was a manager the first time. Would highly recommend America's best and Salome for their service. Sending my kids to see her soon!

I had such a great experience thanks to Ray who was the supervisor/manager on duty during my visit. Even though this wasn't her main location and the team was short-staffed, she handled everything with professionalism, patience, and genuine care. I came in frustrated after receiving the wrong contact lenses, but Ray turned the whole situation around. She listened, explained everything clearly, and made sure the issue was resolved. Her calm and helpful attitude truly made a difference, and I left feeling heard and taken care of. Thank you, Ray -- your kindness and professionalism really stood out.

I'm finally switching to Mountain Brook Eye Care! Why? Because they never told me and would have never told me that they aren't in network with VSP plans, if I didn't ask. They just said they took it but it seemed like I was getting little to no benefit from it!! Also, there's always a new technician. The last eye exam they scared me to death trying to refer me over to the glaucoma clinic because the technician couldn't get good readings on the what I call "puff of air exam." The doctor was shocked at my numbers so she numbed my eyeballs and tapped on them. Thankfully everything was fine. Never again!!!! This place is probably good if you have no insurance or vsp plan, but if you do..... Run, don't walk to a PRIVATE practice!!!!! I took my daughter to Mtn Brook and they are in network with our vsp. Waaaaay better experience and waaaaay better price!!!!!! At Mtn Brook eye care there are no technicians, the doctor does it all, so you know it's accurate. Not one bad reading. Btw: I would love a credit for all the times they couldn't figure out my vsp and instead had me pay out of pocket. They literally said "maybe your husband used all the benefits."That's not even possible, it's a family vsp plan. All these visits you would think someone would say" just so you know we're not in network with VSP plans." But obviously, all they want is $$$$$$$$$$!!!!! I'm telling everyone to switch, this is unethical.

Horrible, Horrible made a Tuesday appointment with Dr. Arrello because she's only in on Tuesdays. Stayed over in hotel an extra day for appointment. We get to Americas Best for appointment only to be told Dr. Arrello was not going to be there for appointment! Do not like the other doctor that was in! Why would they not text, email, call to inform me or if I wanted to change or cancel appointment! Ridiculous! I have used Americas Best for years. My appointment last year was a fiasco they charged my credit card twice for the same appointment! It took a week of calls to rectify charge! I am officially over and done with Americas Best! Never again!

If I could give zero stars I would. This place is VERY unprofessional first and foremost. They cancel your appointments last minute and reschedule you for the wrong time then tell you your appointment is cancelled. They will try to charge you even if you've already pre paid for your eye exams with the care club. They are very slow moving and rude. I've never been to an Americas best this horrible and I've lived in 3 different states and have been using Americas best for at-least 15 years. I'd go to LensCrafters before I ever came back to this location.

Went In for the first eye exam I've in 11 years! I called and got an appointment in about a week, they are taking major precautions that are demanded by the State and Federal government. They eye dr was really nice and explained my vision and am waiting to pick out some glasses. 2 pair of glasses and an eye exam for $69.95 is a very good deal for a single mother with no insurance.
