Top notch service from Dr. King, Becky & Teresa. They're really nice & take the time to make sure that you are happy with your new lenses. It's always a pleasure to talk to Ms. Becky regarding any issues and she'll always tell you to drop in should you need an adjustment to your glasses.

I cannot say enough about the wonderful experiences I have had with BarKing Optical. Dr. King and the staff here do a thorough job in diagnosis, eyeglass selection, and fitting. Becky has many years of experience and knows what styles fit specific faces...takes a lot of the guesswork out of frame selection. My vision is FINALLY corrected after many years of substandard eye care. BarKing is by far my favorite optical center now, and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Exceptional experience at BarKing Optical! From the welcoming staff to the unparalleled expertise of Dr. Joann King, I couldn't be happier with my visit. As a newcomer to the area, I needed an eye exam and Dr. King didn't just meet but exceeded all expectations. She meticulously corrected a longstanding error in my astigmatism prescription, and I've never seen more clearly. Wholeheartedly recommend--this is optical care at its finest!

Ms.Becky has always taken care of me, my brother and my parents and other family members throughout the years dealing with our Vision. She and staff always made their business very welcoming like your already family. If you're ever in the mobile area and need to get help with your vision or just want a good selection on frames they are people you need to see, I highly recommended them and trust you won't leave disappointed!

My experience with Barking Optical was great. The staff very helpful and they really care about your needs.

We were on vacation at Dauphin Island when my eye became irritated and extremely painful. I saw this place had good reviews so I called for an appointment. They advised me to bring quarters for the meter and told me where to park. After the short drive they got me in immediately upon my arrival. Dr King did a thorough exam and explained that my eye was scratched. She wrote a prescription for an antibiotic and gave me a free pair of shades to wear over my glasses for the rest of my vacation as my eye healed. Extremely friendly and fast service. The office worker, Becky, gave me her cell number and offered to help with anything else I needed during our stay. What an awesome experience! Thank you!!

My experience at BarKing Optical far surpassed my highest expectations. Not only was the doctor personable, informative and pleasant to talk to; she was also extremely thorough and prides herself in educating her patients. Additionally, the staff was charming, courteous and cordial. What a great team they all are. Based on my profession I've noticed that due to the pandemic some businesses now struggle with keeping up their customer service levels due to staffing shortages. But trust me, you won't find that an issue here. If I could give the doctor and her team higher than 5-stars I would. And the office is quaint and cozy tucked away inside beautiful downtown Mobile, AL. It's worth the drive no matter where you live along the Gulf Coast & I'm a tough critic!
