All the ladies (front desk and eye ware sales) are the right combination of professionalism and straight kindness.
The Optometrist doing exam is top notch. Can't say enought about her knowledge and treatment. She truly cares about her patients.

If I could leave 0 starts I would.
I originally got my frames in Tuscaloosa but I'm a student at South now. I broke my glasses beginning of February and placed an order with my warranty through Tuscaloosa who then shipped it to this office. The glasses arrived Feb 17 to Tuscaloosa and would have arrived Feb 20-23 to the Mobile office. Today 03/04/26 I just received my glasses, almost a month without them, after calling both and leaving voicemails consistently. I've been driving, going to class, and barely could see they didn't care, nor was it urgent to either office. I called this office last week and the woman told me "nope no orders for you". Communication from both locations was just as frustrating. I won't be rescheduling my annual with them. Rude and can't tell your patients who desperately need their glasses their order has arrived, when it had been there a week or more!!

So, I already had a bad review. Went here because the wife went here. It was going good then they treated my wife terrible because she wouldn't buy their glasses. I rushed all day to make my appointment just for them to tell me they canceled it because I didn't answer a text message. I'm a truck driver that gets lots of phone calls and text messages a day. When I need to be focused on the so called "good drivers" instead of my phone yeah, text messages will get lost and phone calls won't get answered. But, oh well the fate of me rescheduling was sealed when the snobby employees treated my wife terribly.

The dr herself was great. Im leaving a 1 star solely based on the fact that the older lady who is running insurance has no idea how to read policies apparently. After paying my bill and remaining cost of contacts after insurance i'm now being billed over $180. $75 of this is "contact lens fitting" which I made clear in store that ive never had to pay with this insurance, she looked at the insurance again and said oh youre right they took it off. Called billing and they just read the bill back to you with no further comments of understanding. Can barely understand them. ALSO was charged $9 in store for contact solution i never asked for. Didn't even know I was being charged for it until I read my receipt in the car. The insurance lady gave it to me like a gift. To each their own but I wont be returning.

I do not like this place as the prices were so far out of my pay . The lady that took my order was not very friendly .I did not like this place . The Dr was very nice . I like her and then they want to charge me an arm and leg for contacts . I could not believe this . The staff out front was not friendly at all . I won't be going back .

From the moment I pulled into their parking lot I was impressed! I use a walker and when I closed my trunk I noticed an employee standing there holding the door open for me. Very informative! Very kind!! My daughter loved the Dr! She has such a precious smile and way with talking to kids!
