America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

Had an appointment yesterday, showed up eager and on time ready to get it over with . Prior to this appointment, when calling to schedule it, I asked if my new insurance was accepted they confirmed that it was and that's why I proceeded to make the appointment. When I provided my name at check in to the lady , she made a face and said that my insurance isn't taking for "some reason" , at that moment, her co worker made a "mmm mmmm" remark which then the lady sitting at the desk starts to laugh hysterically, it was just sooooooo funny to her . Not to mention, there were other customers in the building, no eye contact was made , a lot of side conversations with each other was being had , it was just a horrible experience. As I'm waiting for her to stop laughing and tell me what's going on , she then says my insurance is showing "out of network " and either I could pay out of pocket for my exam or call my insurance, hands me the iPad and says "you can go sit back there" . As I'm walking away , she then repeats the whole conversation from the co worker making the remark that made her laugh, and starts laughing again , and said that was too funny . That's when I decided to just leave and try to take my business elsewhere because I was going to actually pay out of pocket for this appointment but it wasn't even worth it anymore . Overall I felt embarrassed, I felt there was no professionalism or empathy for your customers .

The first thing that catches attention as you enter this location is an obnoxious odour. An extremely poor first impression. It's so strong, that you can be assured that the staff are well aware of it, yet it persists for days. Staff were friendly & efficient ... but that smell .... awful.

I came in got my eyes checked for glasses. I love the eye specialist but the people on the floor I would give a fat 0 star the guy who seen me he wear glasses himself I can't recall his name it might be Deon. Ok now it was a Tuesday an when I was picking my frame he would tell me how Thay look cause I ask him I was looking for ray ban an Thay didn't have many glasses on sell but I found a pair of ray ban that was mark down to $39 an change an it was my favorite color purple so I got my eyes checked an told him I will be back to pay Thursday. Hear is the mess up part , when I arrive Deon wasn't there an am telling the lady who was helping me bout my frame she was so clueless in what am saying an am getting anxiety cause am looking for my frames thay didn't put them aside or anything so Deon wasn't there hear I am just so hurt an still is I haven't slept sense that day not well am use to whenever I pick something I expect that but I had to go to that wall an just pick something that was p purple and the name of these is Florence by mills I really hate these frames so bad and Thay say it's nothing Thay can do. Well I say to myself lesson learn next year I will just use them for my eye exam an go somewhere else to get my frames this is how our African-American people treat one another so not satisfied an disappointed an upset

Donna the sales associate was extremely helpful. She listen to my concerns and was very friendly and welcoming and easy to talk too. It made my shopping experience At Americas Best Outstanding ! Thank you Donna for your kindness!

I PUT 1 STAR TO POST MY COMMENT!!! Called at 5:49pm Friday 12.31.25, Jacob the store manager answered said hold on and never came back, so I was holding just waiting for him to come back & he never came back, the store close at 6p and here it is 6:10 and I'm still holding, horrible customer service, I will take my business elsewhere!!!

If I could give a negative Rating I would. I had an appointment with them and a week before I tore my last contact at work. I went there to see if I could just purchase a trial pair to get me to my appointment and return to work. They acted like the didn't care at all about my situation and refused to sale me a pair even after I offered to buy the whole box. They said I would have to see the Doctor first who of course wasn't there. This place really does not seem to care about its customers. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I absolutely love the customer service that was given by Sidney. He's great at what he does. I told him I struggle with picking out nice glasses, he said, "that's not a problem he will be happy to assist me" and he did just that. I get compliments on my frames quite often. I really appreciate your help Sidney. If you need assistance please don't hesitate to ask for Sidney, you will definitely have a memorable time with him at America's Best on ATL HWY!!

Sidney was great! I love top notch customer service and he gave just that. He is a people person and makes you feel comfortable. He made great suggestions for frames for my son (which he loves) and got us the best deal. He definitely knows what he's is doing. Thanks again Sidney!
