The wait was extremely long. My husband has Parkinson's dementia and most of the patients were elderly - which made waiting hard for him. My only complaint was the very long wait - seems the procedures could be more streamlined without having each part chopped up and returning to the waiting room. Or less patients scheduled. A different procedure for patients with special needs would be most appreciated.

If you are looking for a new doctor, i don't think this is the place. The clinic appears to schedule more patients then it can effectively handle which results in a frustrating experience. This is disappointing as Dr Swan was highly recommended to me. I scheduled a lasik consultation early January with the earliest availability being February 6th. The consultation went smooth and I was informed that someone would contact me the following week. No one ever did. I called several times with no answer and left a total of 3 messages for someone to call back which no one returned. At this point I'm assuming that I am not eligible for lasik but am still interested in getting my eyes looked at by Dr Swan given his reputation. The receptionist I was able to get a hold of today advised that the doctor has been out of town and will not be returning until the 23rd which is why I have not received a call. While this is completely understandable, not a single representative communicated this information or bothered to return my messages. I was also advised the next availability for a general evaluation is not until May 2026. While I was initially excited for the level of care the facility is capable of providing, I am beginning to think it may be time for me to consider alternative options. Had the staff done a better job communicating, the wait wouldn't have been an issue. The lack thereof is concerning.

Very professional. Front desk staff were polite and efficient during a very busy time. The tech was friendly, knowledgeable, good at her job. Dr. Patel was great. She looks likes she's 12 years old but she is a quality eye physician. Explains in a way you can understand and does thorough work. Great experience all around.

So sorry to not give 5 stars! Dr. McFadden prescribed rx for an acute infection. I was in and out an hour after my appointment time (10:20a), which is remarkable for any doctor appointment. By lunch time, the prescription had not been sent to pharmacy. Lunch time for pharmacy is 1:30p to 2p.I live out of town but I waited until 2:30, still no prescription. I go back to MEP, a tech (not the one assisting Dr.McFadden) sent the script to pharmacy for me. I had been told if after a few days to get back with them if the infection had not cleared significantly. So I called the central number again this morning, the lady who answers was very kind and helpful both times. Same scenario this time. I understand they are a very busy practice but maybe, if an a.m. appointment, work on getting scripts to pharmacy before pharmacy closes for lunch. I thank you for allowing me to voice my concerns/experiences.

Would love to have given 5 stars but the wait time is way too long. Dr.Patel is an amazing person. She explains everything in detail and answers every question. I absolutely recommend her. The tech (male) was patient and very knowledgeable. I'll continue using them but over the past 4 years every time I go there the wait time is always 45 minutes or more.

I have consistently experienced exceptional care at the Montgomery Eye Clinic. Dr. McFaden is remarkable. When I expressed my concerns and issues to him, he was incredibly patient and guided me through the process. The staff is undoubtedly one of the warmest and kindest teams I have encountered. I wholeheartedly recommend the Montgomery Eye Clinic.

Gorgeous facility with friendly staff every step of the way. The tech (not sure of the actual job title) was kind and explained what & why was being performed. Dr McFaden is professional, friendly and informative. 10/10 recommend.

I had LASIK surgery at this location in 2015 and was satisfied with the experience at that time. Recently, I returned for a long-anticipated enhancement and scheduled a consultation months in advance. The week of the appointment, I attempted to reschedule due to a conflict and inquired about a cancellation list. I was told the list existed but was "very long," with no additional assistance offered. On the day of the appointment, I received a call from the office asking if I planned to attend- despite the fact that I was already in the parking lot, ten minutes early. I was also told that multiple patients had not shown up that day, which made the earlier lack of scheduling flexibility questionable. The consultation itself went well, and the staff member who assisted me was courteous and informative. I as there all of 15 minutes. She completed the necessary tests and said she would follow up on Tuesday after discussing my case with the doctor. She even specified that she would likely call around lunchtime due to their busy schedule. Tuesday passed with no contact. I followed up Wednesday morning and was told she was on the phone and would return my call. By 4:30 p.m., I still had not heard back, so I called again- only to be told she had left for the day. I voiced my frustration and was assured she would return my call the next day. It's now Thursday afternoon, and I've yet to receive any communication. This lack of follow-through and disregard for basic customer service is unacceptable, especially for a medical practice. Whether it's due to being overwhelmed or simply disorganized, the end result is the same: poor communication and a disappointing experience for the patient. I was prepared and eager to move forward with my LASIK enhancements, but I suppose I have no choice but to go elsewhere. If you're considering this office, I sincerely hope your experience is better than mine- but I would strongly advise proceeding with caution.
