I was diagnosed with shingles and it got to my eye and if it isn't addressed immediately it can cause some sight issues(even blindness). I spend the morning calling optometrist to get worked in per my GP. None of the 8 I called would try. Dr. Whatley at Whatley Eye Care got me in right away (same day) even though he's not excepting new patients. He said shingles on the head and especially around the eye is very serious and needs to be caught early. Thank you Dr. Whatley!

I was a patient there for 15 years. They refuse to send me a letter that just lists my diagnoses. They said I need to be seen. I don't live in Alabama and they aren't taking new patients. The office manager was so unprofessional, she refused to even talk to me about this.
I asked for Dr to call me and they said they would not even pass the message on.
I have 4 surgeries with this office and they are refusing to give me access to my medical records which is illegal. I will report him to the medical board and recommend you AVOID his HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL staff.

Very welcoming and nice form the minute you walk in. Dr Whatley is the best I've seen and is very, very thorough. I'll definitely use them only from here on out.

I absolutely love going here! I have only seen Dr. Rhyne and she is awesome. Everyone is always so nice and caring. My children and I have enjoyed going here for all of our eye care needs and I love the fact that we can all be seen in the same place. I see all the wonderful reviews and wonder what happened with my one and only visit. I was abruptly seen by someone on admission. Told to fill out form and take it back. No hellos. then after the exam by girl he opened door, walked straight over to his computer, looked up and said I need to go check(something??). Left, returned to open door and say "you have two thick cataracts. You need surg) and stated to shut door and I asked who would I see for that and he did then step inside door and told a doctor. Have never been so unimportant.
