Wow these people are so nice. I hope they all get a good raise paid vacation ham and turkey plus a gold trophy plus the boss there. I love there glasses. More people should come here. It is the best eye care service I have ever been too. Thanks so much everyone.

They are truly professional, very knowledgeable and polite. This has been the first place I have been to that I have thoroughly had a great visit with no complaints. They also have a large selection of glasses to choose from! I'm very happy we switched to Rainsville Eye Clinic.

Today I had the pleasure of visiting Rainsville Eye Clinic. For 27 years, Dr. Dirk McGullion, O.D., has been dedicated to serving the Rainsville community with exemplary eye care. Combining extensive knowledge with genuine patient concern, he ensures comprehensive eye health for all. I had called other vision centers and no one would work me in. The ladies here, though made sure I got an appointment and it was only 4 days later. My appointment was at 10:00 a.m. and I arrived about 5 minutes later. In exactly 35 minutes later, I had my exam and new contact lens in hand. The office is very comfortable and the staff is outstanding. I'd read Dr. McGullion specialized in pediatrics but today everyone in the busy office was over 65--must have been Senior Day? Lol. I have Cigna Insurance and they took my information and got me right back for my exam. I'm so glad I didn't go back to Walmart because I waited 35 minutes there just to speak with a associate. At Dr. McGullion's practice, the optical department offers a wide range of high-fashion eyewear and designer frames for those in need of glasses or contact lenses. Doctor is great and staff is alright. Glasses tend to be expensive and my experience is the glasses do not last like the should. Be careful choosing your frames and make certain if you have scratch resistant coating it is on both lenses. My last pair the coating was on the left lens but not the right. Currently looking for another place to purchase Eyewear.

I was having a lot of problems out of my right eye. It was very inflamed and ended up having something in it. Not only did they work me in ASAP, but every time I had an appointment I never waited more than 5 minutes to see the doctor. They were all so friendly and helpful. When I needed them to fill out a form for my insurance company, they had me to email it to them and within the hour they had it returned to me. 10/10 Great experience with these guys!

The doctor is wonderful and very friendly but most of his staff is an absolute nightmare to deal with. I quit going here and drive three times as far to go somewhere else. I'm not talking about one or two visits either. I came in routinely to pick up contacts and just couldn't deal with the rudeness anymore. On one visit in particular I had just come from the back and my father and I were waiting to pay. The lady just looked at us rather hateful and rudely said the amount to my dad like we were holding her up. Um you're supposed to greet people and say "hello it's gonna be $$ today". On another visit I had to wait for two ladies to finish discussing what they wanted for lunch while I stood at the counter directly in front of them waiting to be greeted. I really liked the doctor but the ladies act like you are beneath them and an inconvenience to their day. I did speak with an office manager about all of this and was not taken seriously.

Highly, highly recommend their services. Arrived and waited no more than one minute to be called back. Then no more than one minute to wait for the Dr and eye exam. Took me longer to chose my frames than the exam part of my visit because they had a great selection to chose from. They were patient with me and my questions about my insurance coverage. Reading other reviews on here I was skeptical to use them but I'm very glad I went there. Another eye place in fort Payne were not nearly as professional or helpful and up sold us on stuff that our insurance wouldn't cover costing us out of pocket (which we didn't know when we used them).

The optometrist here is absolutely awesome. I've went to him since I was a kid. Always funny and always keeps the same monotonous voice as he does your eye exam which cracks me up. I always get a good eye script and I occasionally get help with my glasses from the ladies up front. Super helpful. Very short wait times too.
