Mobile Eye Clinic

DO NOT USE!!! DO NOT USE!!!! I strongly advise against using this clinic. My experience with Dr. Hicks and his staff was highly disappointing, as they appear to engage in unethical practices. The eyewear department, in particular, was problematic. I've been battling for over two months to resolve issues related to $500 in services, involving three separate orders. Their practices feel like a bait-and-switch scheme, especially targeting vulnerable individuals, such as those with disabilities, who use BCBS Medicare. They do not care about their patients. I've reported this matter to my credit card company, the Better Business Bureau, and my attorney due to the apparent scam. It's shocking that Saraland City hasn't taken action against this clinic. Avoid at all costs!

The Doctor is thorough and good. Staff is friendly and polite. I however can not recommend you EVER get glasses here. Every single time I have gotten glasses or lenses something or a few things go wrong. Small selection but mainly it's always an issue getting them or getting them correctly. They have never came back correct and had to be sent back so it's like a month wait each time. Insurance was billed for frames when I used old frames and just got lenses, They never come the first time with the transition I pay for.

Definitley would leave a 0 if i could.... DO NOT USE THIS CLINIC Update 2: got a text asking to make my yearly appointment... big fat no from me. I had an issue with my glasses and gave up getting in touch with after weeks of trying. Called today and SURPRISE... THEY ANSWERED... So I asked if now they can fix my glasses and asked why they never answered phone. Lady was dismissive said office was closed because of the move. Well fine but for weeks with no way of getting my glasses fixed. Can't use them and now she says it's too late. Well right. ... DO NOT USE THIS CLINIC Updated. Still trying to get in touch with them still no news. Dropped by but they are closed for a 90 min lunch with no mention of their times anywhere online except on the door. Rain soaked and torn. Save yourself time and aggravation by finding a new eye clinic. Got a pair of glasses. There is an issue and I have been trying to call for several days. It either never answers or says voice mail is full. Can you please pick up the phone?

Do NOT use this Eye Clinic. The staff is horrible! They SCREAMED at me and said they were going to call the police!!! I order glasses and the first time they came in, the glasses were wrong. They made me reading glasses and I did not go for that. I went for distant. The doctors assistant keep telling me I needed to get use to them. Well when I told her that I could not see she sent me to see the lady who does the glasses. She said the made a mistake. Then they order me my glasses. When they came in they made the reading part a 1.25 and the readers I use are a 250. I was told to where them for 2 weeks and see how they work. So I did! Went back 2 weeks later and the doctor assistant said that the progressive lens where hard to adjust so we order the bifocal's with the 250 readers. Came in working fine. I just left there to go get the $140.00 I had to pay extra for the progressive lens and was told they do not give refunds. So I loose my $140.00 The doctor's assistant screamed at me and told me to get out. I told her she did not have to scream at me and then said if I did not leave she was calling the police. So they get to Keep $140.00 of mine and I do nothing!!!

Just Left My Eye Appointment @Mobile Eye Clinic in Saraland And I Must Say It Was A Great Experience!!! The Staff Was So Friendly & Welcoming And So Personable, I Felt Such At Ease And Not Like A Brand New Patient. Dr. Hicks Was Also Very Friendly & Warm And Was Very Clear & Consise!!! He Gained A New Patient! Will Definitely Be Back!!!!

This was my first experience at the eye clinic and will be the last. I was told when I called that they excepted my insurance but once I came in for the appointment, I was told I had to file the claim myself and pay half now and the balance when glasses came in. Doctor and staff are okay, I wouldn't call them friendly. I received my glasses and after a few weeks, one of the lens popped out. I called and they said the glasses only had a 30 day warranty. I took the glasses back and they inserted the lens but it continues to pop out. I just take and insert it myself now. I'm afraid to wear the glasses out, for the lens popping out and breaking. They are basically used to watch TV. Total waste of my money. Not sure how their reviews went from a 3. to a 4.2 within a few months.

Wonderful place I wish I would have found sooner. Got my glasses the same day. I was so lucky they could make them there.
