Preferred Eye Care is arguably the best eye doctor in Selma, Alabama! Dr. Williams is extremely intelligent, articulate, professional, and very nice to her patients. She will always perform a A+ examination for every patient. She's also a great communicator. Dr. Williams will always give you the correct diagnosis and recommendation for your eye care. She also has a very good staff of assistants. All of the assistants are nice, courteous, professional, and they make you feel right at home! And they also have a great selection of glasses to offer. And the doctor office in general is very clean. Selma, Alabama is very lucky to have a great eye doctor like Dr. Williams. She's one of the best!

I highly recommend Dr. Ashley Williams for her exceptional expertise in optometry and outstanding professionalism. However, I would advise against purchasing eyeglasses from the optical department due to the high costs, even with insurance.
Additionally, I've had issues with the optician, Peggy, regarding unreturned phone calls and voicemails about my glasses.
I think it would be beneficial for the office manager at Preferred Eye Care to be aware of these issues and address Peggy's communication style, especially considering some patients may not be local and rely on timely responses.
The 3 stars are solely for Dr. Ashley Williams because some staff members need more training to become befitting for their role.

Dr. Williams is wonderful however, her receotion staff needs to be retrained. I was trying to get clarity on my annual exam visit and they gave me sn outrageous price. Of course i asked for an itemization and at that point that dropped the orice by $30 and hyped another part uo even higher. They told me i had made changes in im insurance coverage and one if them was overtalking me. I am mist capable of asking the necessary questions and know when i am getting bogus answers. Unfortunately, Preferred Eyecare lost me and 3 other family members as patients. All i wanted them yo do was bring clarity abd transparency to my bill. I shall take our money elsewhere.
