My husband and I have been going to Dr. Martin for my eye care for many years. We highly recommend him and his staff to take very good care of you. He is great at explaining what he is doing and also great at taking the time to answer any questions you may have. His staff have always been very helpful and very nice. They always help us pick out frames (great selection, by the way) that look good on us. They are also great at letting us know what our insurance covers and what our cost will be for the selections we choose with frames and lenses. You won't be disappointed if you choose Dr. Martin's office as your place for eye care!

I recommended Dr. Martin for your eye care needs. His professional yet down to earth attitude is very welcoming. He takes the time to explain things to you so that you understand why he is doing the things he is doing and he ask you questions to better understand what is going on with your vision health. His staff are always so helpful and patient with me regarding my insurance. They also have an excellent selection of frames in stock to choose from so if you are looking for a place to take care of everything this is it.

I have been seeing Dr. Martin for many years now, and he has always been professional, courteous, and in my opinion, the best optometrist in Tuscaloosa or for that matter in Alabama. He diagnosed a high cholesterol problem simply by doing an eye exam, one of which I was unaware and wouldn't have bothered to be tested for had it not been for his diagnosis. That aside, he and his staff are incredibly friendly and willing to go the extra mile to help.

I really like Dr. Martin, have had two exams and two sets of glasses, but the argumentative attitude of his staff is too much. I won't be going back.
Update: The same staffer that argued with me last month was rude to my wife, and refused to fit her new frames -"If they don't slide off your nose, they fit fine".

I highly recommend Dr.Martin and his staff for the best eye care. On July 6, 2017 I was experiencing floaters, dark shadow underneath my left eye, I called their office told them what I was experiencing they had me too come in that day. Took several tests, discovered I had an retinol detachment. They was so kind and one nurse actually in courage me and said that she will be praying for me. They made my appt. In b'ham that day,had my surgery the next day. They said had I waited 1wk.later I would have lost vision in that left eye. So I'm grateful for Martin family eye care.
