Precision Eyecare

I was searching for a new eye care provider after moving to the area, and I truly couldn't have gotten luckier with Precision Eyecare. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly polite, welcoming, and genuinely cheerful. When I had an eye emergency, Dr. Langkawel made time for me without hesitation, and the fact that the staff followed up afterward to check on me meant more than I can say. The facility itself is immaculate and comfortable, and everyone there goes above and beyond to make you feel cared for. Dr. Langkawel is outstanding. She's friendly, patient, and really listens. She takes her time, explains everything clearly, and you can tell she truly cares about her patients, not just rushing them through an appointment. If you're looking for exceptional eye care with a team that treats you like a person, not a number, this is the place. You'd be crazy to go anywhere else.

In my opinion a doctors behavior outside of work especially when volunteering and representing your practice is just as important as your behavior in your office. I had the unfortunate experience of meeting Dr Gretchen Langkawel at Homeless Connect this past Saturday because I also volunteered with them. Because of the room set up we did not necessarily know when our guest were done with their exam, and instead of simply speaking to us in a normal calm manner and letting us know our guest was done we were yelled at and berated for talking as if we're not there to talk with and get to know our guests and share our stories with each other. While obviously nothing can really be done I would like for Dr Langkawel to think about what come out of her mouth before she's just starts yelling at someone. This is not high school we are all grown and personally I don't yell at a group full of strangers trying to get to know one another to "stop talking" it's a bit rude.

Dr. Langkawel is PHENOMENAL! We went away for the weekend but had an eye emergency, but she was right there ready to help! Very professional, knowledgeable, and patient!

I am so pleased with my overall experience with Dr. Langkawel and the entire office staff! Every encounter with them was excellent! Allison is so friendly and helpful with every conversation! The nurse that checks me in is always really sweet and patient with my many questions and curiosity. And I cannot say enough about Dr. Langkawel! She informed me of issues I've never been told I had, she helped me understand why I was having issues with contacts. She was genuinely concerned and wanted to help! She took the time to find the perfect type and brand of contacts for me and just went above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of and that my experience was satisfying. I definitely recommend Precision Eyecare!!

This was my very 1st visit to this establishment as I was in search of a new Eye care Dr. This was by far the greatest experience i've ever had at any eye doctor. The Doctor and ALL her staff were amazing. I brought my 9 month old daughter to my eye exam with me and she was kind of a busy body during the process but one of the staff members got her and sat with her and entertained her as I sat with the Doctor to complete my eye exam and pick out my new glasses. They made my first visit so smooth and amazing. I 100% recommend coming here & they LOVE babies for sure, lol. Very amazing place & staff :)

I had a great experience! I didn't have a wait at all and I really appreciated the staff's kindness during my visit. Dr. Langkawel was patient and gave me a thorough explanation. A lot of doctors don't take the kind of time and care that she did to make sure I got all of the answers I needed during my visit. I will be back! Thank you all for your help today.

Best Eyecare in Tuscaloosa! Dr. Gretchen Langkawel is very kind and knowledgeable. She took her time answering all my questions and concerns that I had. Allison at the front is great! Very personable and made my appointment very enjoyable. Highly recommend Precision Eyecare!

I learned about this office from seeing so many other positive reviews online. And I can't say enough good things from my experience! I sensed the office was clean & modern, the staff worked diligent to look for insurance benefits that may be available. In addition, Dr. Gretchen was so kind, and did what I believed to have been a thorough exam of my 9-month old daughter. I highly recommend this office, doctor, and staff.
