They were super helpful! My glasses were not even from there, and they adjusted the sizing for me!

The man in the optical department replaced the nose pad on my glasses and didn't charge me. I suspect I will be checking out their glasses after my next appointment with the optometrist. Nice guy !

The absolute WORST experience I've ever had. The optometrist was extremely rude to me when asking about my previous contact prescription strength and brand line. I've always worn Accuvue Oasis contacts but had switched to the Accuvue monthly contacts). She was talking down to and acting like I was the stupidest person in the world for not knowing that it wasn't Oasis contacts I currently was wearing). When it comes to the actual exam, she only tested me at one strength when doing the letter test. She refused to test me at additional strengths, again talking down to me. When it came to my new prescription, I was trialing a different contact line and she didn't offer to give me a trial pair to test - I've always been offered a pair to trial. Lastly, this was another disgruntlement area for me. After the exam, she had me put my old contact pair back in. I wasn't able to wash my hands before as her sinks were full of stuff and she didn't have any soap either.

My insurance covers both contacts and frame. The person helped me was not patient at all. I requested him to check again, he checked with an attitude and told me I was right. But I requested to have a year supply of contacts which covered under insurance, he refused to help that way.

I'm leaving this review for my father who asked me to post about his excellent experience at the Tuscaloosa, Target Optical store. He stopped in while passing by and was treated very well by the employee helping to fix his new glasses, that had been purchased elsewhere. Service was quick and friendly; they performed the quick repair while he waited and got him on his way. He noted that the service was quick, employees were cheerful, and the selection was great. A+, Would recommend to a friend!

I've been happily using this office for years but today when I went in for my annual exam, they were charging over $100 when it should have been a $10 copay. I asked why and they said it's for full eye health check. I asked to just have the basic exam for the $10 copay and the woman doctor argued with me and got very rude and pushy. I was barely getting into the prescan so I told them I didnt want anything anymore and left. Same day got into Walmart and they do all the health checks as the standard exam for the $10 copay. This whole experience makes target optical look like a predatory rip off.

Just went inside to see if they could fix my glasses I've had for 2 years. They were extremely loose. I forgot to ask the guy his name but he was very nice and fixed them for me.
