Tuscaloosa Ophthalmology

I went to this clinic in 2021, after realizing for the first time I would need prescription lenses. I saw the younger Dr. Johnson. As a first time patient, I tried to ask questions, which were quickly dismissed. I felt rushed through the exam. I also asked about getting contacts, and Dr. Johnson dismissed that outright telling me "You're too old to use contacts for the first time." I did get my first set of glasses through them, and they were fine, but I recently wanted to get contacts to wear for my son's wedding. I went to a different clinic, got fitted for contacts right away, had all my questions patiently answered, and am absolutely delighted with my new contacts and wear them every day with no problem. Dr. Johnson needs to reassess how he views and talks to his patients and give them the time and respect they deserve.

It was all good. In and out in a timely manner. Dr. Johnson was very engaged and his advise was appreciated as well as his honesty about my needs. His staff is spot on also.

My visit was very professional and through. After several tests I was seen by Dr. Johnson. He explained what to expect from the procedure recommended. I felt very good about what was going to happen on my surgery date. The entire office went beyond my expectations. Thank you all for doing and excellent job.

Very kind, courteous and professional staff. I felt my vision was in excellent hands. No ridiculous wait. Everyone I met had a friendly attitude and a smile. Appointment time is always started in a timely manner. All members of the team are professional and very accommodating. Dr. Earnest V Johnson has been my doctor for 9 years and has always given me top notch treatment including successful cataract surgery. I highly recommend Tuscaloosa Ophthalmology.

Dr. Snyder kept my appointment moving right along, no extra waste of time, I was in and out of seeing the Doctor within a 20-30 minute time frame. I was very pleased with her level of knowledge, as well as what to begin to expect as I cross 40 heading into the next 5 years, she explained things very well! Very Pleased!

With pretty serious vision complications, this was not only the best eye exam I have had in 40 years, but it was the easiest and fastest. I can see better with these new glasses than I could as a teenager, long before glasses were needed. The Doc's and staff here are outstanding, and very much appreciated!
