The staff was always nice but you just never know what you are gonna pay when you go to leave. One person says you don't owe, so you make an appointment and then when you to leave you owe something. I guess you have to have that Vestavia money there.

Vestavia Eye Care has a great staff and convenient location. I have seen Dr. John Essinger twice, and Dr. Calah Ray has seen my three year old. My eyes are aging, and Dr. Essinger has been thorough in discussing the options for my changing vision. Dr. Ray and her techs are fantastic at assisting parents of hesitant little ones with eye exams.

Dr Ray is amazing. She recently evaluated my toddler, and made the experience fun. She is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. She explained everything to me in terms I could understand, and took her time to answer all of my questions. I can tell Dr Ray truly cares for her patients. Her assistant was just as kind and all staff was very friendly. If you are looking for an eye doctor for your child, I would highly recommend Dr Ray.

I was so impressed with how friendly and welcoming the entire staff was. The knowledge and care of the doctors and staff there was beyond any other eye clinic I have been to (in my 30 years of life). They were very thorough, informative, and personable. It was truly an all-around wonderful experience. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a skilled and caring eye doctor. Dr. Fisk and his staff were truly amazing!
